I was lucky enough to be a guest at Lakeside several times back in the 90s when friends owned a home on the lake itself. It was a home designed and built in 1938 by Architect Paul Williams. Sadly, I understand the home was demolished with a new one being built in it's place. In the summer, sometimes we would have a casual dinner on their boat and cruise around the lake from the fountain to Lakeside. The 4th of July was always a delight as we would watch the fireworks display. Christmas at Lakeside was a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday. A lot of great memories at Lakeside.

We used to have a lot of fun there as local kids. We would sneak into the pool and try to pick up on the rich girls before we got kicked out. We practically lived there at night. And no I don’t have any idea how a golf cart ended up in the LA river one night. Glen Campbell gave me a lesson there once.
