Great video, very informative, I have watched your videos before and live part time in Lakewood in the Gold Coast, it really works well for me, I love it , it’s a diverse neighborhood with so much to do and just looking at the lake every day is a great way to start it. Yes ,the HOA‘s are not cheap, but you know , I’ve owned homes for numerous years, and anyone can tell you the cost and repairs and maintenance are through the roof anymore, plus The nice thing is someone else is coordinating the repair and facilitating it in the building, you don’t have to spend your day trying to find somebody good and reliable. All in all, quite frankly I think it’s a wash compared to what you spend in owning a home, and you have the luxury of it having done for you. Maybe not for everyone, but for my own situation and I know many others, this is a really good, relatively carefree lifestyle, I feel reasonable and the underground parking is wonderful, the pool is beautiful, I always try to take early morning swims and laps when no one’s there,, my building even has a car wash that I use weekly. Some of us seem to think it’s like living in a small resort, and you know in most other cities this whole cost would be more than double if not triple. I think it’s a bargain sitting right on the lake.
