Mr. Nevercracker was the real one, he was literally staying trapped in his house for 45 years and yelling at people to stay away from his house to protect them.

Don't forget: Nebercracker is still so fit because he built their house from the ground up.

It's cough syrup with codeine or alcohol which is why the officer took a sip. A lot of teens/Young adults mix it with sprite to get a high/drunk ish feeling which is why you have to get a prescription for it from now on.

That relationship was toxic and I knew that since I was a kid,didn't know what was specifically wrong but I knew that was a weird relationship but I did cry when she died so...🤷🏽♂️
@Jazker_da_thief3 жыл бұрын
If you're talking about nebbercracker and constance. I think she just had anger Issues (also, she obviously feel insulted when the kids throw tomatoes at her because she remembered being Made fun of her body and being called a freak) and never mostly attacked Nebbercracker. When she was a house she wasnt even was herself anymore, she was a monster that wanted revenge for something she probably doesn't even remember exactly.

@Ciara Milne eh, I wouldn’t call it toxic simply because we have no idea what their relationship was like besides he wanted to save her. I don’t think him seeing her and wanting to take her away meant he was toxic, especially when he was planning on spending his life with her and giving her something she craved. As for Constance, I do think a case could be made because he was the only person who was nice to her, but I think with her trying to attack the kids, she’s fiercely protective of the things she’s never had which is a home and a husband
@EChacon3 жыл бұрын
I'm going to be real with most of you, I love this film but I never realized that the entire film was done through performance capture. Even I was surprised the voice of Constance is Kathleen Turner better known as Jessica Rabbit in _"Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"_

As a kid Constance's legit corpse crumbling up in her house scarred me but I did indeed cry after watching her die like that 😭. Plus I understood why Mr. Nevercracker was always so mean after a bit. He legit wanted to keep them damn kids and people away for their own good. He couldn't control an angry spirit. Completely surprised that he didn't go coco for coco puffs through all those years of living alone, practically burdened and hella angry too...
@paprikapepper47653 жыл бұрын
This movie is def a classic. The idea is like something of a nightmare (but genius), the animation is great (where the humans dont look terrifying), and the romance is cute imo. (btw,,, Scary Godmother commentary when? 👀 )

I don't think it's a matter codependency. Codependency is natural in intimate relationships and can even be healthy in small amounts. The problem with _this_ one, was that trauma and grief have warped it so much for so long, that it became toxic.

So when Mr Nebbercracker said that he and Constance have been trapped for 45 years, then that means the reign of terror must've been going on since Constance's death around 1938 or 1942. :)❤

I don’t care what anyone says, this movie is good. I know that all of you think we don’t like the animation style, but I think it’s good for a Halloween movie. The plot was good the twist was good, the emotion was good and the casting was good, this movie is a gem

Ok but the backstory of the house and constance is so sad. I rewatched this movie as an adult and I was just sad. Not really scared but just. So sad for her and Mr nevercracker and what could have been for them. And the fact that he was protecting both the kids and his wife over all these years and spent his life alone with her spirit in their home is so bittersweet. That's why she didn't want him to leave with the paramedics, because she wanted him to stay with her and have their spirits together. It's just such a sad story.
