@TSB-pg6yoIt's the mechanical and chemical processes Dave has developed: wood, with truss rod, must be finicky. Will it work or not? It's cool as hell. Lots to learn.

I have 2 Ibanez sr885 5 string basses, a 2000, and a 2002., the 2000 I bought new, and it still plays well, the 02 I bought used and the electronics are shot., there’s about 4 miles of wire, and more components than the space shuttle in there., I want to go passive on both of them, starting with the ‘02, I really need to get on that project.

There’s a KZbin tutorial out there on how to delete the active circuit on SR basses. If I remember correctly, you just unplug a harness and bridge 2 terminals with a piece of wire. At least on my SR300, the pickups are passive, just the tone circuit is active.

to be honest id not know what to do with a 5 string bass but obviously this guitar was not kept adjusted and it just went to pot sort a speaking so heat press again. daves an expert heat press guru!! wins everytime. my only question is when you heat press a neck, does it ever go back to screwed up again>>
