Does anyone think maybe she was having problems with Tom and her only chance at any sort of redemption would be to fess up (even though she tried omitting things during the final interview and had to literally be PUSHED by the producer to answer questions) to save any bit of reputation she has left? Maybe Rachel knew the Tom thing was going to fizzle out after hearing that he still slept around (with Ariana) while hooking up with her/all the gross comments he made at the reunion? If she wanted to completely come clean because she hates lying, why not just bare absolutely everything in front of the camera? She didn't think through what the fallout would be, and I think seeing it, and hearing what Tom said (and him not really standing up for Raquel at all) and reality of having no one really hit her - and she felt like being able to one-up Tom and come clean was her best play. I don't condone what she did, but I do hope she's okay, sending people hate and death threats is never okay, and we've seen that lead to people self harming and no one deserves to be driven to that.

Is it detrimental and excessive and hurtful to the relationship? Yes it was. Was it narcissistic? No. James and Raquel very much spoke to each other and behaved normally when off camera, as evidenced in their backstage moment when he went to hug her and ask if he can say goodbye to Graham. James regular tone and affectation is even much deeper than the way he talks on camera, and much slower, and less manic. While James was childish on camera, we can’t be so quick to call every action ABUSE. There was a high level of immaturity he displayed, and a willingness to put “performance” and “putting on a show” before concern for his wellbeing and that of his partner. And this definitely hurt his partner. And eroded the relationship. But he was NOT abusive.

I’ve had this same thing happen. My best friend and my baby daddy/ fiancé had an affair behind my back. I was captivated by this scandal because it hit so close to home for me. I just found out this week that my former best friend died. So my advice to Ariana and anyone going through something similar is we can only ever control our own actions. You will never regret doing the right thing or being a good partner/ friend. You’ll only regret the time you spent angry at the world. I thought my life was ruined but my it was a lesson I needed to learn. You will never fully know someone else. You can love them for their good parts and good times you spent together. Loving yourself will bring more positive people and experiences in your life

Raquel didn’t even tell everything! She went there and continued to lie. She only went to selectively reveal more information to SEEM like she was telling everything, to ease some of her guilt and wash the stench of Sandoval off her. Probably after the reunion she realised, she’ll go down with Sandoval’s sinking ship if she doesn’t throw a buoy out. But make no mistake, that was not remorse. That was strategic breadcrumbing, so she can leave two doors open: staying with Sandoval and riding it out together, or if that doesn’t work, staying in the show and acting like well she told the truth which meant she was sorry.

I felt bad for the position that he put Schwartz in at the beginning and then I was upset with Schwartz but I've gone back to being on shorts aside. He's really pissed off at Tom and he's been pissed off at Tom since he deserted him with the restaurant. Schwartzy loved Ariana and was her friend but we've known from season 2 about the bro code. I mean come on what did anybody really except Schwartz to do except for what he did considering Tom was his business partner and that's all Schwartz had left he had already lost everything else. All that money Tom through at his band could have been used for the restaurant and Tom Schwartz wouldn't have been so broke he had to take the money from Lisa. We've seen schwartzy since the beginning and he has to be very angry and upset with someone excluding Katie in order to speak up to them. And what did happen when he tried speaking up to Tom Tom would yell him down standing over him. That's all schwartzy had left the hopes of this restaurant and Tom. And he needed time to get that restaurant open. From what I've seen I don't think their relationship will ever be the same again.all shorts had to do was look around the room and see what all he lost. List not forget Tom was an actor also all those scenes where he was sobbing you didn't see his face he had his face in the crook of his arm even at Lisa's. I think I seen tears for real maybe twice and he was probably crying for himself. I can't find any response of time to Raquel coming out with her new story. She got away from Tom's advice that would not make him look bad and got it by someone people who cared about her and told her she needed to speak up. I think the affair started in January after her and James broke up in December and I've heard other people mention that timeline. The earliest I've heard of was April but a couple of people had mentioned seeing things that January including Rachel. She said in another interview the beginning of the year. I'm going to go back and watch this interview again and see if she said that and this interview.

So Raquel and Tom had an affair and made a mistake. But the appalling and disgusting behaviour of low class Lala, Ariana , Katie and James are so embarrassing. The vicious and vile words that comes out from their mouth is disgusting especially coming from them who also had an affair but trying to make excuses. Raquel was bullied by these mean women but bravo are enabling them. They need to get rid of Lala, Katie and James on that show. No what we saw on our screens is exactly what happens today but over text messages/ social media. The only reason you have an issue with it is because it was on tv. There is no one In their right mind who wouldn’t stick up for one of their friends if they happened to cross paths with the person who had an affair with their friends partner.
