I think it’s the fun characters. It’s easy to focus on the plot and science to be excited when the season starts, but it the fun and lovable that characters brings it to a new level.

This whole anime season has some gems that kind of flew under the radar, sequel seasons and originals alike. We got Dr. Stone Season 3 Part 2, Shield Hero Season 3, I'm In Love with the Villainess, Faraway Paladin Season 2, Shy (now that I'm looking at the list of what I have backlogged, I'm like "damn, we're getting 3 yuri and 2 polycule anime out right now, you guys okay over there? anything you want to tell us?"), Eminence in Shadow Season 2 (it's dumb, it's very self-aware, it's hilarious, the dub is good), etc. Also, a fair amount of stuff that's simulcasting subs and dubs, Dr. Stone included.
