A truly sensational performance of an absolutely marvellous piece. Many thanks. I'm afraid I'd never heard of Pierre du Mage before, but I need to hear everything now! What an incredible organ! Perfection.

After researching du Mage in light of hearing this wonderful piece, I discover that this is all there is of his music. He did write a second book of pieces, but it's been lost, making this piece all the more precious and special. He had a terrible falling out with the chapter of Laon Cathedral in the north of France where he worked and, because of this, became a civil servant, never composing or playing ever again.

Exactly, unfortunately just this Suite has survived and it is a really masterpiece. The Isnard organ and Emmanuel playing are simply legendary; I'm very proud of this video :)
