Did you hear the way Mike Mayock interviewed him? OMG the Raiders missed him as their GM one year too late. No doubt in my mind he would've picked him up. Who he drafted this year has been very good. This was crazy to see. I'm a Ravens don't worry, but I'm also honest.

I keep seeing parallels with a lot of elite-level stuff (elite music, elite gymnastics, etc), w/ the NFL. High levels of talent aren't all that meaningful. It's a lot tougher to get highly-skilled, if you don't have the humility. Who's going to want to teach/mentor you? Pretty much no one :) If Lamar keeps his head together, I think he'll be a great QB. IMO it doesn't matter where he's drafted. Just show up, put your head down, and work. Show up and don't suck, and you'll be fine! :D Like the elite level of anything, skill is what separates average from great.

Lamar Jackson is an amazing passer with the most potential by far in this draft just based on everything he can do. The moment he steps on the field Coaches will be sweating bullets not knowing what's coming next. Their is no way he falls out the 1st round he should be the 1st overall pick but it's about politics

secondstate fishing He never got injured people like you sound dumb just watch the flim and look at the NUMBERS Allen is terrible and played NOBODY AND GOT DESTROYED!!! he passed for 1800yds and only 16tds man stop Lamar passed for damn near 4000yds and career 9,000 plus passing !!!!!!!!!!! He litteraly ran for almost as many yards as Allen threw for. So stop that nonsense

I think people fail to realize that this is the new era of qbs, they gonna have to start running and scrambling with these DT and DE Running 4.6 or 4.5, the game is changing and Rodgers and Russell and Watson have all shown that you gotta start putting your legs to use cause arm talent isn’t gonna get you a win lol unless you are tom or rivers but they are all getting old lol

They knew Lamar Jackson was going to be great from the beginning, from the start High School to college . They just didn't want to pay him top dollar for his Phenomenal talent , so they pick him in the 32nd draft...They had their eye on him whole time. They knew that the others teams were not going to pick him because the league is bias when it comes to Black QB's. So they know exactly what they was doing. There are an a lot of political politics in sports and if you're not paying attention you can be easily misled !!! They really tried to discourage Lamar Jackson from the Quarterback position by telling him to change positions , this is a dirty world!!!! They knew exactly how they wanted to fit him in... Lamar Jackson threw for over 3500 yds in college and he also rushed for over 1500 yds in college. They knew exactly what they was getting they knew that he can improve on his abilities By developing him as a better player ...His Phenomenal talent spoke Play him to the NFL with all eyes on him !!!!

Lamar Jackson great young man respectful to everyone. But extremely disrespectful to Defenses. Browns you have the 1st and 4th pick Draft him number 1 and Saqoun barkley and don't look back

CJK Gaming Yes but with all these moves in free agency they made they can afford to give up a draft pick to move up in the draft and take them both. The franchise needs LIFE AND EXCITEMENT and all that potential in those two I don't see why you don't do it

Think what his completion percentage would have been if his receiver's hadn't dropped the ball 12.4% of the time last year. Rosen, Allen, and Mayfields receivers only dropped the ball 4.5% of the time. I've watched game tape of him and saw him play several times over the 2017 season. Even on busted passing plays when he was flushed from the pocket he was looking downfield to pass the ball until he crossed the line of scrimmage. He's not perfect, but he is every bit as good as the guys that the people say are top 10 picks.

Baker mayfield would be like “uhhh I’m running to the right because I gotta scramble to the right” meanwhile Lamar calling the right plays and actually the super bowl team unlike the browns that they said were gonna be it... lol

They should have been able to see how humble, focused, and attentive this kid is listening Maycock. That should have been a big sign he would get better like he has.

Funny thing. Lamar isn't the best passing QB, but he is the best QB for offensive unit production in this draft. i have not heard of any leadership issues with him. so, he is the best producer of football offense in this draft. combine that with a top ten defense and we're talking at least the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Mike you jump on the bandwagon early. this kid is a phenomenon!!! how could 31 teams pass up on this kid, when you could clearly see he was good in college!!

Yeah his racist ass jumped on the bandwagon this time because of all the years of doin the same marginalization of black QB's as do every body else.
