Lamar Jackson HATERS Will Be In Protective Custody After Today...
Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Miami Dolphins by a score of 56-19. The Ravens have locked up the number 1 seed in the AFC and Lamar Jackson is set to win his 2nd MVP award. Do you think the Ravens will win the superbowl this season? Join the conversation below and don't forget to subscribe for future content on Lamar Jackson HATERS Will Be In Protective Custody After Today...
BALTIMORE (AP) - Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens clinched a division title and the top seed in the AFC.
There’s no mathematical way to tell if the star quarterback wrapped up the MVP award, too, but his fans made their views on the topic clear.
Serenaded throughout by “MVP!” chants, Jackson threw for 321 yards and five touchdowns as the Ravens eviscerated the Miami Dolphins 56-19 on Sunday. Baltimore won its first AFC North title since 2019, when Jackson was named MVP. He might be closing in on that honor again.
Lamar Jackson’s perfect day clinches top seed in AFC for Ravens, fuels rout of Dolphins
The stat sheet agreed. Jackson went 18 of 21 without an interception. He finished with a perfect passer rating of 158.3.
Jackson missed the end of the past two Baltimore seasons because of injuries. Now the Ravens can rest him voluntarily next week if they want, although Harbaugh was noncommittal on that.
Baltimore (13-3) has won six straight, and the Ravens rolled through a grueling December stretch that included games against the Rams, Jaguars, 49ers and Dolphins.
“I don’t know if I’ve seen a more impressive performance in a game. I’m not sure I’ve seen a more impressive performance in a season to date,” said Harbaugh, whose team will have a first-round bye before hosting its postseason opener. “Obviously we have a lot more to do. We’ve got a lot of work to do in front of us, but this is a mature football team.”
Miami (11-5) is also postseason bound, but now the winner of next weekend’s Dolphins-Bills game will take the AFC East. Miami was without two offensive stars in receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle) and running back Raheem Mostert (knee, ankle).
And now the Dolphins face another potentially significant injury. Linebacker Bradley Chubb - with his team down 30 points - had to be carted off with 3:05 remaining after hurting his knee.
That raised obvious questions about why Chubb was still in the game.
“There’s times like this one where I would like a time machine for sure,” Miami coach Mike McDaniel said.
Jackson had more touchdown passes than incompletions. That’s a feat Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa also accomplished in a 70-20 win over Denver in Week 3.
Jackson also had a perfect passer rating against Miami in 2019. He joins Tom Brady (against Detroit) as the only quarterbacks with two perfect ratings against the same team, with a minimum of 20 attempts.
“I love the guy,” Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen said. “He proved everything he had to prove. If anybody else saying otherwise, they just don’t like Lamar. That’s what it is. They don’t like us, they don’t like Baltimore, they don’t like Lamar.”
This matchup featured Miami’s top-ranked scoring offense and Baltimore’s top-ranked scoring defense. In the early going, the Dolphins had the upper hand. They scored on the game’s first drive when Tagovailoa threw an 8-yard pass to Cedrick Wilson Jr. Jackson answered with a 20-yard scoring strike to Justice Hill.
Miami would have had another touchdown on its second drive, but Tyreek Hill bobbled the ball in the end zone and the Dolphins kicked a field goal.
The Ravens took the lead for good in the second quarter when Gus Edwards capped an 89-yard drive with a 1-yard scoring run. After another Miami field goal, Jackson immediately found Zay Flowers open deep for a 75-yard touchdown that made it 21-13.

Lamar had to stay with the Ravens because he promised to bring Baltimore a Super Bowl. I'm glad that Lamar was picked by the Ravens and I'm glad that he's still with the Ravens. Lamar hasn't had a very good time in the playoffs because the O-line was not very good and he was expected to carry the team on his back. Now that he has good protection and receivers to throw to. Then the defense is playing lights out so far and they need to stay that way. I don't know why people have to hate greatness. There's no doubt that Lamar is the 2023 NFL MVP..

I never lost faith in LJ8. I knew his time would come. Lamar Jackson now has what Patrick Mahomes had from day one. Mahomes is now experiencing what Lamar Jackson had to deal with from when he arrived until this year. No sympathy there because he was supposed to make teammates better and the next "goat." The Ravens invested, and it's paying off. Go Ravens. LJ8 should get his 2nd MVP.

I think being (slightly) critical of Lamar Jackson was justified the last two years, but it turns out it was Greg Roman who was deserving of criticism, not Lamar. Steve Young said it - Greg Roman’s offense was incredibly simplified and relied on Jackson running all the time; Young said that that was holding Lamar back and preventing him from becoming a sophisticated, modern passer. That’s no longer an issue - one year in a modern offense and Lamar looks like a certainty for MVP and the Ravens are the best team in the league.

The reason Lamar was losing playoff games was because of poor preparation on the OC. The OC could not adjust in the 2nd half and the pass concepts were elementary. The players screamed that to the media. The media loves to create its own narrative they do not give enough credit to Todd M OC and allowing Lamar to be the general. Do you know that under the old OC Roman did not allow Lamar to audible out of plays 👀

Im sorry im so not sorry. If u actually followed HIS CAREER then u should have never lost any type of anything for lamar because of the playoffs. Because u would have known that lamar did not lose those games. Lamar actually played well in those games minus the his very first one as a rookie and the mvp year. And he didnt play bad his mvp year. Yet his team let him down. Because lamar had the same level of talent around him then pat his around him now. Anf lamar dragged them to the playoffs. And even though lamar has been a CHAMPIONSHIP QB he has never had a championship team around him. See pat cant carry a team and lamar has been doing that since he took over for joe. Im 100% sure that once u hit the playoffs u play OTHER PLAYOFF CALIBER TEAMS. And lamar has never had a PLAYOFF CALIBER TEAM. Im not even a ravens fan but i know lamar is the best QB in the league. No QB is asked to do what lamar is asked to do. Yet he wins at a very high clip. Actually 2md highest WIN PERCENTAGE IN NFL HISTORY. But i always knew if he got talent around him that was just a step up from what he had but still a step lower from what other QBs got he would be a problem that cant be solved. Because in a system that hsndicapped him with all back ups at the skilled positions outside of TE AND KICKER he was a problem. So i knew with just a little bit of help around him and a more sophisticated pass game he would be hell on cleats... But u shouldve been able to see that too unless u wont watching the games and u were just going off of the media... The media forve hell of narratives and they are good for the guys they like but still lies and are usually bad for the guys they dont like which are still usually lies especially when it comes to US/BLACK PLAYERS...

In my opinion anyone who didn't think Lamar Jackson is what he is now back then then y'all really don't know sports and only listen to whatever people in media and people who don't like a certain style of play say. Plus I'm pretty sure you really can't think deep and break situations down with good contexts on situations to see everything clear and not how everyone else use it in their closed small mindsets. Plus usually people like that are not trying to really be honest and truthful. They rather just ignore things that others that are not ashamed of how the world and the characteristics of people within the world truly show. which is something that still blows my mind for adults to just ignore truthful things because I guess it makes them feel different/uncomfortable, don't want to be the what the world likes to use now the "person crying victim" lol which was a started started by people who actually make victims through their demonic entitled ways of behavior to the weak, but anyway. I was surprised how Steve Young actually came out and said the truth on how the talent of Lamar Jackson truly is compared to everyone else in NFL history at the quarterback position. Which he got a lot of backlash from his own and my ppl but he doesn't back away from his opinion and he's right. I actually knew that before he said it concerning the greatness of Lamar Jackson and the eventual greatest quarterback of all abilities and was very shocked that he said that without any hesitation or discomfort getting push back from his peers. And the only thing a lot of people would agree on concerning them believing he wasn't good was because of the way his style looked and to them being unorthodox when he played. Rather than not being some damn robot and just watch how Lamar Jackson plays in the style of played NFL is right now and realizing no one will stop him once he's in his prime, hell they couldn't stop him when he was a rookie and he was still learning. His team had to catch up with him but of course he got blamed for all of that mediocre play as a team but never mediocre play from himself. Also and more importantly, the organization did not back him at all in the beginning which is something people who don't want to admit his greatness will never bring up for some strange reason. But Lamar Jackson did not complain and still made that team a playoff and super bowl contender each year. Compared to Baltimore about to fire John Harbaugh for not making a playoff for the past five years in a row until Lamar came in the middle of the season replaced Joe Flacco in the final seven games went 6-1 and brought them to the playoffs. even though they were out off playoff seeding when he started as a pure rookie not knowing much of anything. And the rest is history 6 years later and he is only 26 years old. Now come on man if you can't be impressed with all that, then your just purposely not wanting to like this guy. plus he's respectful humble not prideful not into himself a perfect teammate and leader and does not put himself out there in the media while keeping his business to himself. how can you not like a brotha like that which is something the media hates, especially if it's a person with those characteristics that most people of the world prays for coming from one of our own young intelligent confident humble but firm brothas and showing all the young men in the world of all races how a man suppose to represent himself to the public no matter what happens and how ugly ppl truly can be.

Offensively its really been about a better full recieving corps. The Pittsburgh game aside, its been a really solid year. That's the difference.

Crazy that he was gonna fall outta the first round and Ozzie and Decosta and Harbs were the only ones that could realize how crazy that was. Like "i guess we will take him if you guys dont". Had to rebuild the whole team around him. And it did take too long to get to receiver but they finally did and its all coming together. Statue next to the other 2 one day

Crazy thing is everyone thinks lamar gets cold in the playoffs. But he doesn’t. The receivers don’t catch the ball and the play calling was horrible. That’s not lamars fault he actually looks like the only one who wants to win if you really watch

The reason Lamar was losing playoff games was because of poor preparation on the OC. The OC could not adjust in the 2nd half and the pass concepts were elementary. The players screamed that to the media. The media loves to create its own narrative, the media doesn't give enough credit to Todd M OC and allowing Lamar to be the general. Do you know that under the old OC Roman did not allow Lamar to audible out of plays 👀

There was a reason he fizzled out , it was the scheme and no receivers. How can you play the best of the best. Without an elite passing game and concepts and no receivers to play to challenge the outside perimeter. Greg Roman had Lamar playing in a phone booth.

If you understood football then youd know it isnt him that fizzled out in previous playoff pushes but moreso bad situational coaching & lack of comparable weapons. He had made mistakes but its a TEAM GAME & every aspect has to work in unison.

I don't understand the argument for Lamar Jackson as MVP this season. He leads the league in NO QB stat. He's top 5 in rushing yards and rushing TDs. So? I'm 99.999% sure the argument is he's the QB on the best team so it doesn't matter if he's the best QB.

I definitely have faith in him. People want to bring up his playoff record, but he’s young and needed time to mature and grow up. It took 5 years of losing playoffs before Joe Flacco got the Ravens to the Super Bowl. There are teams that haven’t been to the playoffs in years, so why is Lamar getting criticized so harshly? Media and fans forgave Joe Flacco saying it’s okay, he’s a rookie, he’s only in year 2/3 whatever. Plus we had the pandemic and Lamar got sick. So why are they treated so different?

You lost faith because u wasnt a real fan bro. Ive been a fan of lamar since his second year. Him losing in the playoffs was due to him not having a good receiving core and a not so good OC. Lets be honest when have they ever ask a white QB to change his position? Even when they were complete azz? Tim Tebow was given many chances to makes teams as a qb. The first blk QB was made to change his position to WR, Racism in the nfl will never change . I can't wait til lamar wins his 2nd mvp and SB mvp
