Against the Raiders Ja'Marr dropped a short 3rd down pass beyond the sticks, he dropped a deep pass that hit his hands on 3rd down, and couldn't hold on to a pass in the endzone (very similar to a TD that Ja'Marr had in the 2022 AFCCG). All these passes, Ja'Marr was 1on1 with a defender. Ja'Marr jokes that he doesn't eat well and that he doesn't like 1pm games because he's not a not a morning person and that he barely makes it in on time in the morning for meetings/practice. After the Raiders game, he joked that he missed a meeting/practice his rookie year but still got to play against the Ravens (when asked about Burton) Maybe Ja'Marr is tired in the 2nd half of games due to his sleep schedule? Burrow and Ja'Marr aren't on the same page on or off the field. Goff, Daniels, Allen, Burrow all more valuable to their teams as far as QBs go than Lamar is to the Ravens. Not to mention all the worthy none QBs in the league. Giving the award to a player who is above average on the best team year after year is a joke. Lamar isn't even in the same realm as those guys as far as QB play. Lamar is not why the Ravens are so good. His WRs/TEs are always wide open, every play. He can't make any other kind of throws. He can run amazing and has improved a lot, However, he is not MVP worthy, Last years award to him was a DEI award. Period.

Baltimore is and has been the best built team for several years, Lamar is a perfect systems QB within this system, but he still can't throw to anyone but wide open players. He has improved greatly since entering the NFL BUT he is not the reason the Ravens are so dominant, He is why they lose. Maybe in 3-5 more years he will grow into the QB too many think he is now, but he isn't there yet. He just plays on the best team is all, his flaws get well hidden.
