So playoff wins don't help Brock Purdy but they matter for Tua but then they don't matter for Herbert. Cj Stroud loses 34-10 to Lamar in the divisional round in a game where he couldn't produce an offensive touchdown and he's a tier above him. Trevor misses the playoffs and is on the same tier with 4 other players who made the playoffs just to avoid giving Purdy or Tua any credit and keeping them a tier below.

Brou calling Trevor "a disappointment" isn't really harsh. At Clemson, the word "generational" was thrown around frequently. His career so far is 63.8 completion rate, 58 TD's and 39 INT's with a passer rating of 85.0. Quarterback "B" completes 62.2% of his passes, with 59 TD's and 24 INT's and a rating of 90.2. Quarterback "B" is the definitely not generational Gardner Minshew.

I agree with most, but here are my post draft tiers 1. Mahomes - No questions 2. Stafford - Last year he was great, but is age catching up? 3. Burrow - I don't think he is going to remain healthy, I think he will not be top 10 this year (out of league in 3 years) 4. Allen - He's really good maybe great, but needs a smart consistent team around him. 5. Stroud - He had a great year last year, really composed. 6. Lamar - If he learns to get the ball out of his hands and trusts his receivers, he could be next to Mahomes soon 7. Herbert - I think a little Harbaugh will make his stats look great. Not yards but everything else. 8. Goff - Strong arm and read defenses 9. Purdy - Doesn't win or lose you a game perfect but plays system football for Shanahan 10. Baker - Showed again that he is a top 10 quarterback. 11 Love - End of last year shows a lot promise, could be top 5 after this year. 12 Cousins - consistent good in regular season 13 Dak - consistent good in regular season 14 Hurts - Great team around him, makes him look better. He is Lamar lite right now. 15 Rodgers - Lost his movement and coming off injury, but is NFL smart. 16 The Prince - Needs to show something. Could be top 10 with a good showing this year. 17 Tua - Needs to still show something, really bad in big games when he needs to be good. 18 Kyler - Needs to still show something, out last season. 19 Caleb - Nobody knows anything about him yet, should be on this list.

If you think CMC should have won, that’s fine, but if we are only looking at QBs than Lamar had the most impact on winning. This goes beyond stats too…for example, Gus Edwards had like 10 goal line touchdowns this year where he walked into the end zone because teams have to cover Lamar on the read option. Thats an impact of Lamar that’s huge but doesn’t show up in the box score.
