Webber was incredible and sadly forgotten due to circumstance. One of the most athletic, instinctive and fundamentally sound players of that position ever.

Chris Webber in today's game would be a nightmare. He'd have more freedom to dribble and shoot from the 3. He was a modern big stuck in a 90s style game

Chris Webber had the best court vision and passing ability of any big I've ever seen play

Jordan even thought this was the team of the future once they added Rod Strickland. But GM Wes Unseld broke it up before they even had a chance.

I was at this game. I remember a few days before they played the Warriors in Oakland. Someone blocked Chris's shot and stared him down. He was getting payback here.

wizards had webber, Wallace, and howard. 3 pf too many, so they traded webber and Wallace and kept howard. these GM's are the luckiest, who else can make millions just to make stupid decisions

I remember seeing Chris at a mall a few days after he was traded. He wanted no parts of Sacramento when he was traded there. He actually wanted to stay with the Wizards. It's bad enough that they traded him but they traded him for a smaller player (Mitch Richmond) who was never going to have the same impact. Even worse they traded multiple future first round picks to get Chris in the first place.
@briannelson80203 жыл бұрын
Worst trades of all time image Wallace and Webber and Howard up front also traded away Rip Hamilton and Ben Wallace we had 3 5ths of there championship team

Chris Webber when he was healthy, was an excellent two-way power forward in the NBA. But Wizards (as they're called now) didn't get to see a healthy Chris Webber at the Capital Centre very often.

I still to this day don't understand how webber was the warriors #1 pick and lived up to it in his first season (at least he did in stats even though team was out in the 1st round) and then the very next year gets traded can anyone please explain to me why this move was made???????

This was BASKETBALL .. I don't care how "skilled" these players are today it just doesn't compare to this era .. not even close!? I could watch a replay from any team of the 90's over a current BS NBA game these days!? They hardly even block out anymore much less play any kind of defense!? I MISS REAL BASKETBALL!!!

Another great the NBA purposeless sabotaged his career because he was a average black person. Man could play inside, shoot a deep 2, hit a 3, pass, and run the fast break.
