Chris Adler's drumming is absolutely phenomenal. Those double kicks are so punchy and crazily consistent! One of the finest drummers in metal without debate! 👌🏻😜

Double bass is one of the best inventions in the world honestly but the bass and guitar add so much and the snare snap along side the cymbals pushes me as a drummer... Tom's are almost irrelevant. 😅

@@tm-worldwide It's all personal taste - I love the Rev's drumming but Chris Adlers is just a level above in terms of how pleasing it is on the ears - along with how fun it is to play. I think they're all (or were) incredibly talented drummers. Chris's kit on this album is just.... *chefs kiss*. The sound of the double kick is absolutely incredible. The high tuned snare, the use of small splashes along with that gigantic deep sounding ride. Also how flawless the sound is when he alternates between the toms and kicks. The fill section on 'the faded line' is wild. Dude is an absolute robot with his timing and precision.

I have a rod of iron, a rod of lightning, a rod of thunder, a rod of light, a rod of wind, a rod of fire. Maybe some ody else had the rod of fire. Maybe not now. I'm God. I dont want you to suffer, so all those suffering who asked God to please let them die while in repentance of their sins and blasphemies, i take them down to show them mercy, so i can take them to heaven and prepare them for a better day. Mercy is impoetant. It shows you are a good King.

Im 24 years old now and this song brought me to metal when i was 12. I was just playing guitar hero 2 with my cousins and we tried the song "Laid to rest" because we thought it was easy. We figured it out that it was a hard song for us to play in playstation. After we finished playing guitar hero 2, the riff of this song plays again and again in my brain like it was screaming to me. After that day, i went to the nearest downloading shop and ask "do you download songs of this band?" The owner replied "yes , how many songs you want. Answered "All of the songs of the album". Later that day, i listened to them every fucking time. That time , i never knew that it is possible to play drums with a double bass. Im amazed , im always excited when hearing the songs from them. I always show their songs to my friends who dont appreciate metal that time because they are emo songs listeners. Every playlist in my phone contains every album of them. I fucking love them, i really want to see them personally but i cant afford it. This band, this song gives me the happiest and heaviest feeling in music. You are all legend 🔥 Thank you for giving me goosebumps everyfucking time. THANK YOU

The copyright for the video is 2004. The producers of the video and the record label censored it because this video was made for TV. It had to be censored for it to air on TV. It wasn't made to be uploaded to KZbin.

It's funny how even though he isn't really one of the best drummers in the world, he can still be one of my favourites by far! I think it's just his very unique style that makes him a favourite, much like Tomas Haake.

FordFan197 Yes He is one of my favorite drummers too. I think he is bad-ass. I have a playlist on my YT and watch him play and talk at drum clinics. He is also a very nice guy, too.
@michaelbarrett296810 жыл бұрын
FordFan197 I agree dude... that's because it's all about the song and the beat, not being the most virtuoso drummer in the world. It's why so many people can't stand Dream Theater- they're brilliant musicians, but it's just a bunch of guys showing off... the songs don't invoke the emotion this does.
