Just got back from a blast on mine, these bikes are megga in sumo trim every motorcyclist should have one. That gearing is perfect just need more revs and soften up the rear spring she will lift perfectly.

Foot out (weight forward for front grip), centered over the leaned over bike has the advantage of controlling any potential slides because your body is over the contact patch. I think it favors lower speeds. Knee down (weight inside) hanging inside of the bike has the advantage of standing the bike up further around high speed corners so you don't run out of tire sidewall for a given curve.

No unfortunately doesn't have the full complement of Airbox pressure sensors so hilltop software won't work. You would have to power commander it

Question. I have some Talon hubs (non cush), can you purchase the cush drive parts and just bolt them onto your non-cush hub? Loving the bike LCR.

Try a 42. It's very popular for supermotos for the street. Does great on freeway and still lots of torque in town.

most likely because they can take a crap load of beating and because of the conversion, you buy an Enduro bike wich you are allowed to register in most eu countries because they have driving / braking lights, then you need to pay for registration which is not cheap or a part of the purchase price (atleast where i live) and a pair of SM Rims/Tire sets costs around 10k Nok / 1,2k USD. where i live if you purchase a brand new Husqvarna FE 450, Register it and converts it you are looking at around 15k USD 125k NOK.

Once this 500 is set up correctly it will rape any 690/701 The 690/701 is for the masses and good service intervals and ease of use. Anything like this 500 EXC or any other true Sumo are extremely single minded bikes,I wouldn't want one for my only ride.
