I don't know why do you think Papa Don is insane, he dedicated himself to the dream of coexistence, obviously he won't let his batshit family go on a feeding spree. Also rosinante doesn't supress blood hunger. The reason he and Sancho don't suffer from it as hard as the rest is because of their personalities, they derive their meaning from things other than blood. He really didn't grasp how bad it was for the rest, thats the tragedy of the conflict. You should also give him props for striving for better future instead of closing his eyes to the suffering of humans, like everyone else does. That alone makes him one of the most moral people in the city, especially since in his position of power it would be trivial to do so.

The best/worst part about the real Don: of all Bloodfiends we know, he is the least affected by the lack of blood. So he may very well have tried his idea on himself beforehand and came to the conclusion that it was totally doable. After all it's probably uncharted territory so his own experience is all he could go off of. Also don't you remember Bari from somewhere ?

By the way, i dont know if you are aware of it, but if you have the bloodfiend Don ID, her uptie story is almost a mini chapter with how long it is, and is actually interesting to read. But it have spoilers, so dont read it before finishing the dungeon.

3:00 Not quite immediately but it will eventually happen. Stronger bloodfiends can control when it happens and some human could possibly resist it for a while but it will eventually happen after they get bitten by a bloodfiend. 3:19 they tired using bloodpacks but mentally for a bloodfiend, the blood is just not fresh enough to fully enjoy without bitting and drinking it directly from a human.

Not going to sugarcoat it, I cry in this chapter. The whole deal with Papá Don and his familiy got me good, I get Don was naive and shortsighted but in all of Project Moon he's by far the most "good" character so far. But yeah Bloodfiend nature cannot be fought and the trio had a point BUT even then, they got ways to feed without killing humans (again, Distortion Detective's Elder wanted humans and bloodfiends to live in peace but knows its near impossible so she reminds hidden) Hemobars were just a crappy way, they needed to invest more time researching because blood was not scares (Gregor Priest id tell us the park was jam full and more humans keep showing up, it was a huge hit and they got no problem paying the blood entry) but not drinking directly from a human reduces the effective power of the feeding. Also if you want to put LaManchaland Bloodfiends in VTM I gotta go with a Bloodline of Tremere (even when.....you know) but given the nature of Papá Don he really fills the bill of Saulot (kind vampire, loves to travel all over the world, does good deeds and antagonize more "evil" vampires) so given Tremere are just a mix of different Vampires clans Salubri trails might show up in some Tremere. -Strong Blood Bond weakness --feeding from unwilling victims and even those who antagonize them is very close to the Sabbat's Salubri Antitribu clan weakness (they cannot feed from willing victims but hey, Sabbat! Lol, lmao even) -heavy use of Thaumaturgy across the board
