Hi Glyn, the amount of rain that you get in the Spring is really something. Glad that you were able to get those twins that were born to safety before anything bad happened. It is hard to believe that another Lambing Season is upon us. Hope that things go smoother than last year and hopefully the weather will cooperate. Glad that you got the footage of Charlie and Buddy laying on top of the large Bales. They both looked so proud of themselves for getting all the way up there. Best wishes for a good Lambing season in 2024.

It is so chock full of great stuff and you and father's narratives, it kept my old heart pumping like I was running a race! 😂 I give it a best in show utube award ever (if there was such a thing to be given)🙂 🏅👍🍀👍

When your ewe took a minute to follow the lambs at the end of the video it reminded me of a story my grandfather told us yesrs ago. Neighbours of his, a husband and wife were taking in two ewes and their lambs but the lambs were not inclined to follow the woman carrying her two lambs. The husband was gone ahead a bit and looked back . He wasn't too impressed and in an exasperated tone he roared back at her ... would you fucking Maaa Bridie!!

Yup! I was sitting in my easy chair laughing like a lunatic at Glyn's squeaky mouse high-pitched whinny like my foals used to do....except Glyn's sort of trailed off into nothingness. I was jumping up & down yelling... Come on Man!!!Get Real! No ewe is gonna be fooled by that weak as a new born kitten sissy maaaa......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 PS. Glynn if you read this comment, please don't take offense. You are such a man but I think your voice was getting weak & needed a break. 😉

More videos of the lambing would be great. I know you're knackered with getting up all night to check on them but lambing videos should bring in more subs and viewers. If you can give warm ( body temperature) 5% Dextrose subcutaneous to the weak or chilled lambs, you'd be amazed how a lamb will bounce back. 10cc per kg. and you can dose every 2 hours. As well a hot box is so handy to warm really chilled lambs (I've seen lambs born in -40 and stiff come back with dextrose and a hotbox). The lamb start you're giving orally is a great help as well the colostrum. I've used a similar product, gave it to every lamb. Does anyone use coverall buildings in Ireland? Great video, wishing you a successful lambing season.

no talking to the old buck. maybe in a few years😂😂🙈
Best of luck with the lambing 2024. Nice to see you have experience with the oxytocin, but be careful with it. Using it on a ringed ewe can be equally as dangerous as it forces the your to contract to push the lamb out. Has the potential to kill the lamb from the pressure and the ewe from potential rupture.

Nearly all’s going well with you. The ringwomb reminds me of the time I took one of mine to the vets as I was getting nowhere and a tail was hanging out.. Vet A forced the cervix causing her to bleed. Vet B then came out and performed a caesarian while she was bleeding to death. I told the partner of the practice that a farmer doesn’t expect a vet to kill his sheep and vet A may learn if the bill is paid from A’s own wages. I did get a very small bill. I would have been more impressed if vet B hadn’t gone ahead, seeing the haemorrhage and elected to euthanise.
