When I was a teenager I went to church with my friend and his mom. We hopped in her car and she found my friends LoG CD in the glovebox. She was like, "Oh that's so nice that you guys listen to Christian music!". We didn't say shit and she popped it in. Almost had a car accident on the way to church haha

My mom and I shared iTunes when I was in HS and she thought the same thing. First song she played was Vigil. Slowest calmest intro in LoG's discography probably. Then Randy's vocals came in and she practically threw the headphones. I was in stitches and almost peed myself.

I am not sure what the true interpretation of this song is, but what I have taken from it is that no one can tell you how to live your life, the answer lies with you and if you ever depend on someone else's opinion, then you're probably not living your best life.
