Andy Phillips resumes work on the Countach restoration project. This time rewiring all the headlights and parking lights to be in the proper locations, and cutting the polycarbonate windows for the driver and passenger doors.

This is the first video I've caught. Always wanted to do my own lamborghini replica. Something to be said about knowing your car completely inside and out. I'm going to live vicariously through your videos I suspect!

Coming together nicely I really like the light setup looks great. For the parking light opening are you going to cover that spot with the same stuff you are using for the door windows or is it staying open. I also noticed and you did not mention this but the openings on the side of the car are you adding marker lights or is that for something else?

Yes, there is a lens that goes over those lights. Yes, the side markers get installed as well. Everything was removed for paint

How are you going to adjust the headlights? What body is that? Buy the horns has the correct set up. I have built a few provas and Kester Easton bodies. I just picked up a Strickland body but its in such bad shape its not buildable. Nice to see someone doing one.

I’m installing the pop up headlight motors in the next video. Once I mount those I will adjust them accordingly. The body is a Final Concepts body from about 25 years ago. It’s well made but some of the details are off.

@@PhillipsVision I thought you mounted them directly to the mounting face without the buckets. I will go back and look again.

@@PhillipsVision The only accurate body is Rick Fitzgerald aerotech in Oregon. I know for a fact he used factory doors and parts to pull his molds. All glass fits perfectly. I have built a few provas and Kester Easton bodies. 27 cars total back in the 90s. A while back I picked up a Strickland bodie because he said his molds were Kester Easton bodies from thier molds. Its not even close. Im sure he pulled his molds from early first gen prova. Its garbage in my standards. It will take more work than neccessary to make it right. Flat roof , wrong A pillars ect ect. I was not referring to horizontal I was referring to vertical or adjusting for proper head light adjustment. I realize you can adjust height with the arm length. Have a great day.
