Tomedelic1 steps onboard Lamborghini Huracan Performante for a crazy lap on the Nordschleife. We encountered our Friend Sebastian Vittel in his Porsche GT2RS and did a nice battle on the Nordschleife. Both drivers are very experienced on the Nurburgring Nordschleife and trust each other skills. The Porsche GT2 RS is so fast from its turbocharged flat six is has a lot of torque. But the Lamborghini Huracan Performante has the sounds, the aggression and the steering. Check out this crazy lap behind each other during Touristenfahren.

Why would the 911 be more of a masterpiece if it weights about the same, has considerably more power and torque, and is turbocharged, yet not quicker, in fact, slower on a track. 2 seconds per lap slower on Magni Cours than a Huracan performante, both driven by the same pro GT3 race driver. If anything the Lambo is more impressive.

Porsche got more horses and a bit lighter probably which is why he was pulling on the straights (Performante 631HP vs Porsches 691HP, and then the Performante has a curb wieght of 1555 kg vs GT2RS's curb weight of 1470 kg). ^^

The normal gt2 rs needs 6.47 minutes and the Huracan performante needs 6.52 minutes The gt2 rs mr is with 6.40 the fastes car on the Nürburgring which is licensed for use on public roads Bit i think its a normal gt2 rs in the Video

the huracan is far outgunned power wise hence why this is actually quite amazing that it keeps up or even holds the lead so well. Huracan on a dyno ran 400 wheel horsepower this is due to drivetrain loss now 600bhp x 0.25% of DTL=450whp the average DTL is 25% BUT the vid i'm refering to showed the huracan has as much as a 33% Drivetrain loss so that means the perf actually has 631bhp X 0.33%=423Whp(Wheel Horsepower) so 423-474whp depending on the DTL. Link for the dyno vid here-kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3ysdJ6mgL-SZ6s The GT2RS ran 629whp on a dyno upon release that means the car has actually more horsepower then stated by porsche most likely so they can have an even further advantage this means the GT@ has 740bhp there is even another vid of one doing 661whp meaning that GT2 Stock has 780bhp Link for GT@ Dyno here-kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5ubgXdorNlmpMk so in short 629whp minus 423whp=206 wheel horsepower in favor of the porsche and it weighs less the performante is incredibly fast to keep up with the GT2 i feel that if a performante is slightly tuned with better tires and more power something like 700-800bhp that it would destroy even the MR version of the GT2RS.

@@erikbritz8095 the Manthey racing is just suspension and some aero no engine. You could easily turn the boost up on the GT2RS. And Porsche has always been conservative in their numbers. Back in the day the 959 was quoted at 197mph if I remember and the F40 20mph. Rarely any F40s broke 200mph. But the 959 regularly would break 200mph.

@@thof8287 yes you do know the the stock GT2R was dyno'd and ran 691 whp meaning via drivetrain loss for RWD which is 15% the real engine power figure is 812Bhp meanwhile the stock Huracan Perf has 474 whp aka 631bhp and YET it still keeps up massively with the porsche equal the power levels a bit more and we most probably would see the perf outrunning the porsche well only if the fix their brakes issues and a lil more aero but again.

The way both drivers use the limit of the tires, width of track and curbs, and the power of the cars is truly astonishing. Bignumtt I agree. There is fast driving and then there is overtaking through the grass before Fuchsröhre and there is understeering out of the Karussell. Both of which can go badly wrong. There are certain limits you should respect in the Touristenverkehr and this kind of driving goes a little too far.

I think GT2 RS is faster overall. Lambo driver is definitely more skilled, but I think Porsche pulls away even in the corners sometimes when the driver is really pushing.
