Got a link to your site from Steve (the Steelweasel), what a refreshing channel, and made simple for old git's like me to understand. Love the music in the background, takes me back to when I was 21😳. I shall be using this method when I change over my 1980 Serveta Li150 (with SX200 in) to 12v DC in the winter months. Thank you👍👍👍

I get 1.5 ohms and 2.5 millihenries between the yellows - should I be concerned?

This is commonly called "floating" the stator for full wave rectification

It's for the lambretta but same procedure for other stators.
