I don’t like Gelo, but tbh he did average the most points out of the three of them back in HS. He was, as far as technique, the most well rounded for years. Remember lonzo still had his terrible form and never tried on defense. He was just an athletic 6’6’’ playmaker. And lamelo was a volume shooter, but was often viewed as a team cancer cuz he would have great games and terrible games cuz his shot selection sucked and he was very skinny and poor attacking the basket. Gelo may have been the shortest but fundamentally, he had the best game out of the 3 of them. What he lacked was the height + we all thought that he never had the “future star” factor his brothers. Worst part(for him) is the whole thing overseas with him robbing the store killed any chance of him showing it. Anyways back to the point- at the time, him saying he was the best(back in HS) was believable. Now, not a chance.
