Melo finally found the rhythm in the 4th as far as scoring buckets. If he can consistently hit 3s, he'll be too hard to guard. Ironically, as he found his groove, his team gave up the lead they had all night.

He found his rhythm coz terry wasnt around. Clifford had no choice to stick to lamelo the whole 3rd-4th. Melo need reps, yes he was struggling the past few games and hes even 4/15 at the start of this game before he catches fire in the 4th. If terry was in this game im sure melo would be bench again in the important part of the 4th and end up 5/18 again. Clifford should understand melo doesmt need to get bench when struggling he needs the reps to get his rhythm and confidence back.

In the 4/4 I could see Lamelo before the injuries, he really looked fired up, unlike the first, second and third quarter, when he missed layups like crazy. I need that leader who makes his team play and at the same time knows how to dominate everyone on the court.

OK, but can we talk about Ish Smith? The guy literally in the 3 minutes he played, accumulated 3 fouls that were quite detrimental to our victory. Melo finally got a rhythm going in the 4th, too bad Charlotte couldn’t hang onto that lead. They played really good defense and shut Luka down in the 1st half. Melo also had 10 assists in the 1st half was going crazy facilitating for them, if more of Melos shots fell earlier in the game it would’ve been a W.
