Preparing the Hoof using Distortions as a guide

Through an understanding of recognizing distortions using the E.L.P.O. Hoof Evaluation Protocol, preparing or trimming the hoof becomes easier and more beneficial to the horse. The hoof preparation in this example would be more for a shoeing application, rather than being left barefoot, however the approach is similar but probably with less sole material exfoliation. This video is only a very brief overview of the hoof preparation process and should not be used a complete instructional video.
