Do you really think if Mel was abusing any of her kids that Martell wouldn't have brought that up in the court documents when he was trying to get full custody of them? He would have been screaming at the tops of his lungs that Mel is a danger to her kids from season one. He would have gotten full custody of the kids if this was true.
