I honestly think that the speed machines cars have the best paint jobs hot wheels have ever done except for the spectraflame era. Not to mention the super crisp tampos and all around detail. Great showcase!

My favorite is the C4 WRC, many pep doesnt even know it exists. Took me 3 years to find it. A friend got it for me in Mexico.

I have red-black Mclaren F1 GTR, Purple Panoz GTR-1, white carbon VW Scirocco N24, Yellow 612, green Gallardo, silver 550 maranello, blue Reventon Roadster and the greatest of them all ZAMAC 599XX. I also have red white F430 Challenge, blue Tesla Roadster and red Citroen C4 WRC.

Nice video, Lamley Group! I regret not picking them up when they were pegwarmers. Still kicking myself till today.... BTW, the Ferrari 612 name is pronounced ‘Ska-lietti’ (the ‘g’ is silent), the Lambo Reventon is pronounced ‘Rebenton’ (the V is pronounced as a B for some reason), the VW Scirocco is pronounces as ‘Shi-rocco’

I really like the wheels on the speed machines cars, it's plastic but I like it. I have the polizia gallardo and the Ford GTX1. I bought them on a swapmeet with littlebit rusty axles.

I ordered the only blue TTS left on eBay a few weeks ago and it came in the mail today. I definitely paid way too much for it, but I really wanted one because I drive a 2009 TT. Might not be a TTS, but it is the closest I can come to my actual car.

It is so ironic that these cars were pegwarmers back in the day. Tell Hotwheels to make another Speed Machines line (with real riders) and their revenue will skyrocket faster than a Bugatti Veyron. I mean come on they are missing on a big opportunity here, I would rather buy a entire Speed Machines set than another boring Chevy Camaro set. :/ I am sure Hotwheels still has the license for pretty much all brands except Ferrari, so it definitely worth a try.

Question: Help please!Found an error that is incredible, cannot be counterfeit, need to know value of it. I was shopping for a couple of my favorite castings a while back, to do a custom paint job and wheel swap. I rarely find the ones I want, I guess I have bad timing in searching for cars for my custom work. Well I found one I liked, and it was in a BIG pack of cars, I figured I would take the one I liked and give the rest to my grandkids. So I am looking them over for errors ~ and if I liked any wheels that I may switch out, I noticed that one of them has the wrong name cast into the base. And no, the bases for these two will not swap, wrong wheelbase and track width altogether.... I went back to the store and nabbed the last 2 sets that had that casting in the mix.... figured if they aren't worth anything, then the grandkids have a ton of cars to play with!! How much is an error like this worth, in the time since it happened I have had no one person put a value on what I found. Can you guys help me figure this out?

R. S. These errors are very rare and they are worth the same as the regular models without errors, and I'm 10, I'm happy to see that old peoples are collecting hot wheels too :D

Those cold mold wheels just create such a perfect stance on those cars. Love that grey Countach! Noticed they kept both the front and rear wheels the same size - Why couldn't they do the same with the red Countach in that last Lamborghini set? :-\

1ChilledDude that’s because this Speed Machines Countach was based on the 25th Anniversary model, whereas the red Countach launched in the Lambo set was based on the old casting from the 80s/90s
