Why would a RPh not counsel on contraceptive risk with the liability being there even if isn't clinically significant?

Hi! I’ve been on Lamotrigine for a few months and love it and have been on Xulane (not an oral contraceptive but an estrogen containing one, “the patch.”) would this still impact the efficacy and potency of lamotrigine?
