Lovely bead, Robin. About half my tools are repurposed kitchen items, an old flower frog, knives, skewers, measuring spoons.

Hello Jirup! 🌹✨ I’m glad you enjoyed this one! I love to repurpose tools as well….(i will have to try my old measuring spoons…love that idea!😅). Hope you are well and enjoying your weekend!! Hugs and Cheers- Robin 👋🏽🌈✨✨✨

WOW, I’m really impressed with the texture. You could have stopped after the first impressions and it would have looked like a shell. Love it when artists use modified things around the house to alter the glass surface. My mind immediately thought of measuring spoons to make a new tool, especially the really tiny ones like 1/8 or 1/4 teaspoon.

Hello Sap! ✨🌹 Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed this one… I actually almost stopped with the first round of impressions, but couldn’t help myself! 😅 Ever since I’ve been working in Glass kitchen tools, have a much deeper meaning for me! …love the teaspoon idea! Have a great week ahead!! Cheers- Robin 🎃👋🏽🌈

There actually is a set of tools out there that produce the same results. Baleen tools. But I love repurposing things to create tools. The beads came out wonderful. Always love when I get notification you've posted a video. Toodles Linn

This is pretty cool. Think I might try something like a copper green. With clear over or the Iris orange wither clear.

Magnificent! Congratulations Robin! One question please : Looking at your video, I don’t remember you saying you reduced nor striked the DH Atlas but did you? If not how does it make those beautiful colors ? Thanks a lot, love your videos ! Take care 👍💐
@scottwoodresearchАй бұрын
Hello Sonia! 🤗✨ Thank you so much! This one was a lot of fun to play with. 🌹💫 I did not do anything special with this color…. In fact, I haven’t had much luck with it other than to use it on top of silver foil like this! Lol. After I had applied the color and shaped it I noticed the various shades in it and decided that looked hopeful..so I continued on! 😂😂😂 I am still figuring it out and will keep you posted! 😂 I do know that the background of silver on black helps this color to reflect its spectrum beautifully! Thanks so much for asking! 🌹✨Hope you are doing well and happy! Hugs and Cheers- Robin 🌈🌹✨✨✨

Beautiful effect! I love tools! I need to get some arm protectors, do you have a favorite pair? I'm in Florida so it is hot in my dungeon
@scottwoodresearch28 күн бұрын
Hi Mirela! 🌹✨ I’m so glad you enjoyed this one! 🤗. Discovering and making new tools is so much fun! There is a pair of arm protectors that I like to recommend. They are made out of Kevlar and are perfect for hot glass work. Here is a link where you can buy… hotglasscolor.com/store/safety/safety-gear/sleeve/ You can also Google ‘glass blowers protective arm sleeves’ , and you should be able to see a good variety of them! I hope you are doing safe and well down there!! 🙏🏽🌹🌹🌹 Thanks so much for your question and comment! Have a wonderful week ahead! 🥰 Cheers - Robin.🌈✨🌹🌹🌹
