I enjoy my Lamy on both my reMarkable and Supernote. I purchased mine from Supernote and although they offer it anymore (I was still able to get it done), Supernote used to monogram it for you. My Lamy pen and HOM2 pen is monogrammed. The other thing I enjoy with the Lamy, if you want other colors but don’t want to pay the higher price you can switch the bottom part out with the other Lamy Fountain Pens. I’m currently using the Lamy Vista Clear Rollerball Pen.

LOL and a lot of people are starting to use the reMarkable Marker Plus pen on the Supernote nomad. You get a pass.

I heard about the Lamy roller pen body swap, but hadn't heard from anyone who'd done it. That's a cool customization option. Even unintentionally (or maybe intentionally) anything Ratta related is option rich, I love it! I missed out on the monogramming, being new to the space when I ordered mine, I never considered it. But my next pen will definitely have" RaT" on it :)

😮 not the remarkable pen on the Nomad, LOL! Not a spoiler for you cause you already know how good the lamy feels on the remarkable. But, I just finished a video testing like 4 nibs on 4 different devices. One of my take-aways was that the Lams feels the best on the remarkable. Glad I ain't the only one breaking the rules :) .

So everyone seems to love the ceramic nib from Supernote and I saw on the Supernote that they sell their Feel Write film. I keep wanting to see someone replace the film on their Boox Note Air 3C with the feelwrite film! They sell it in an 5A aize which dimension wise ahould cover the screen. I am juat dying to see it.

You don't say. Now, that sounds interesting. I wouldn't put it on the Note Air 3C though. I'd put it on the Tab ultra C Pro. I hear the screen on that is of the glossy variety, and that's what's keeping me from getting it. If the dimensions are good, I may just try that. Thanks for the info.

@@rantsabouttechnology I think they sell one for their A6 size screen which should be similar to the size of the Mini Tab. If you are looking to experiment. LOL and share with the world!!!! No one else is doing it.

Hello. Yea, I saw the Dr. Grip/Wacom pen. But, I was disappointed that it wasn't a pilot collaboration. I think Wacom just licensed the Dr. Grip name. Dunno if that would have made an actual difference in the design of the pen 🤷🏽 Besides that, it's missing a button, no clip, and comes with a felt nib 🤮I thought about putting a Super Note refill in it. Maybe I'll try that sometime. Thanks for the comment.

I have it and it's great. Pilot pulled out at the last minute. But if compared to my pilot Dr grip ballpoint. I have used a variety of nibs with it. Currently have a metal nib. Definitely give it a try.

@@rantsabouttechnology I swapped the barrel of the Dr. Grip/Wacom with an original Dr. Grip so that I could have different colors and a clip. I use a metal nib on it. The lack of a button is a bummer, but it’s nice that you can retract the tip and the grip is the most comfortable. My other favorite pen is the Kindle Scribe Premium which (although thinner than I prefer) has a side button, an eraser and a concave ridge along the full-length of the barrel that allows it to attach magnetically more securely to the thin edge of the Boox Go 10.3. I just need to find a thinner nib, because the nibs it comes with are too round and big. Would be cool if Boox allowed programming different functions to the side button and eraser.

Supernote's _'Heart of Metal'_ pen can work on all Wacom devices but at the risk of damaging the screen over time, as it was designed to work on the Supernote with its recoverable rubber-ish surface. Personally, I stopped using the Lamy Alstar as I found it very slippery on the Supernote and Boox Note Air 2+, spending more time trying to locate its black button on the black pen than simply using the eraser icon... however, that might be because I tend to spin the pen in my hand while others retain their original grip. Its certainly a well made pen, but not for me while many love it.

Hello, and yes it's super well made. It just oozes tradition. I find that if I position the cap clip on the back of the pen, right over the Lamy logo, the button is always under where my index finger rests. The clip just makes a bigger frame of reference than the actual button, since it sorta blends in. I suppose if you spin your pen then it's a mute point but Ive been dying to tell someone that and you were the first to mention the fiddly button :) The original nib IS slippery on everything BUT the reMarkable 2, to me. But My Lamy has a Ceramic Nib😮... Video coming soon :)

Hello and Nah, the Super Note pen doesn't have an eraser, or a button. None of theirs do. The only one they sell with a button is the Lamy.

Unfortunately you will only find your perfect tablet-pen-screen protector combination once you stop doing this for KZbin videos, and use the different products properly for 3 months each in your work/ academic/ journaling tasks on a daily basis. It’s really hard for KZbinrs to achieve/ discover the best combination. At the end of the day, most reviewers eventually falls back to the most basic/ fundamental aspect of each product, as each product was designed to provide the best experience with their own accessories, for their users.

I'd agree with you, but I'm not doing this for KZbin videos. The videos are a byproduct of me exploring eInk. I'm doing this to find the perfect writing solution. I tried to ditch paper before now but the tech wasn't there in 2008. Was recently made aware of this new crop of eInk tablets, so I thought I'd record the experience. I may end up getting different tablets for different uses (honestly that's how it's looking currently) as none are perfect and each has a strength that I'd like to exploit. No matter how the tablet situation turns out, I'm sure I found my Nib of choice. Whatever tablet I'm using just gonna have to fall in line😂
