I really appreciate this album. It was so clear, clean production, great lyrics, and overall just a good album. I’m not sure why this album gets so much hate. I feel like we are experiencing a side of her addressing so much insecurity in her life but still taking a stance despite the criticism. She mentioned that this album is a explanatory and defensive album and I feel like because of that, it appreciate it more.

the singer in Dealer is Miles Kane, member of The Last Shadow Puppets along Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys), TLSP and Lana have some unreleased colabs btw i love this album, it’s in my top 3 along NFR and Ultraviolence, i always describe this like a poetry and piano afternoon with lana, it’s like a music and poetry collage and i love this, just chilling with her sayin’/singing her sh1t lol, she’s so camp sometimes

In the title track she is saying the man promised to come to fix her weathervane and paint her banisters blue every May, but now her sisters come to paint the once blue banisters green and gray because he stopped coming back. It’s so sad and beautiful. Also, ‘Tex and Mex’ that she mentions towards the end of the song are her dogs in the album cover.

Blue banisters is my album nfr is my favorite but blue banisters is my album it’s my second most streamed album it’s just the best. It’s my ultraviolence it’s my moody album. So uplifting but dark melodically

Just for your info, since you may be looking into Angelina Jordan. At 12, she did " Born to Die'" and " Young and Beautiful". When she sang " Born to Die'", she sang behind a spit guard so you couldn't see her lips .People who have never heard her thought she was lip syncing, because they couldn't believe that a 12 year old girl could sound like that!
