Her response when they told her Kanye used the same type of sounds in his album... In these times, as it happens so often, you would maybe have the impression that an artist who hears something like that may get a little irked... Lana's response right there just changed my entire world. The grace with which she answered... and the fact that she literally only sees his using a similar sound as something awesome and that she has in common with him is the most pure and beautiful thing I have seen from her. I truly respect her so much for that alone if not already for everything that she has done in the spectrum of her life and art. She is a real goddess.

Maybe she's just a person that translates better on paper compared to vocally? It's not uncommon for some people to have a lot of smart things going on in their head, and then when they are going to express it trough talking they struggle to find words. I also notice she conceals some stuttering, that can be a part of it. But anyway, I think her ditzy and careless nature is a part of her image, and therefore translates into how she talks.

Eminem is one of her influence because he wrote about his life and she was amazed that you can speak about such personal stuff, and you can see that her lyrics are autobiographical so yeah. He had a huge influence on her but she also said that people like Johnny Cash inspired her too. To me it seems quite logical, and plus she's a hip-hop lover.
