The competition in that bowhunter class is no joke. Truthfully any one of those top 8 could have won it. Like Andy said…..thanks so much to the BHOD team for adding contingency money to the podium finishers. Other than maybe Vegas, I don’t know if there’s a tournament that pays as much to the bowhunter class podium finishers as the Lancaster Archery Classic

He mentioned he doesn't hunt with a back tension. Is there any reason for that? Cons to hunting with a back tension?

With a back tension you don't know when it is going off. Good for target especially

It's truly just personal preference. Some people like using a back tension or hinge for hunting, but others don't like to have the "surprise" release while hunting.
