Moved here in 2008 from Long Island. We love it here, but Lancaster County has definitely changed in those 15 years I’ve been here. Getting very Long Islandish. Traffic, aggressive drivers, etc. However, still a great place to live

I think it also might be society in general. Everything is go go go now.

The Amish have alot of money in their community. They make a great products and have a lot of land. They only spend their money with in their community as well.

Prices have definitely gone up since I began visiting regularly a few years ago. Still a great city tho I’ve noticed a growing homeless population.

Those two issues are definitely going hand in hand. I’m seeing that generally everywhere though.
