Just an FYI I'm 37. Jdm skates: that's sick!!! I agree, been trying several 3 stairs and i can't get the speed and timing quite right to clear yet. Jaime Ting: Awesome, i got my one stair and 2 stair, they are both posted up on my channel! The 2 stair in the video was more of a rocket rolloff because i was injured, but i can ollie a lot better now. Mindset is huge, I'll remember to get in the zone. Thanks!! To be completely honest, I feel like he lacks the athleticism and coordination that the younger guys have, he also looks really tall. All of that would make it more difficult to even get out of that "I don't want to get hurt" phase.

I'm 40 years old. I quit skating around 23-24 and just started again. It's a lot harder this time around but I have fun and just wanted to say thanks for making these videos lance. It reminds me that skateboarding is and should always be about having fun even if you are not good.

Rickadus ThirtyOne Ride in the streets more, less skateparks and more streets. Go through tough surfaces, roads, where there a lot of bumps, cracks, obstacles, etc. No bs I learned pretty quickly to use my board through that. You just need to teach yourself how to control it better.

Its like that at first, after awhile you will be so comfortable that skateboard feels like a part of your body. Even walking feels so awkward that u prefer to skate

Lance couldn't even stand up on his board when he started in his late 20s and now his kick flip down a set is clean as hell and he doesn't clench his fist anymore which makes such a difference in his overall style! Cool, I just got back from an evening sesh. I landed my first varial flip down a bank this evening, so right now the confidence is slightly boosted, and maybe (just maybe, lol) I could have used that confidense to dare to try a 3stair, but sadly "my" skatepark only has a five stair, and that is a bit to intimidating to begin with. But it has a good ledge that I will try kickflip off the next time I skate. Thanks for the encouragement man! :-)

Im so stoked for you Lance!!! I started skating again like 4 or 5 months ago, seriously anyways. Up till then i still rode my cruiser sometimes but basically quit almost 14 years ago. I just turned 28 and it is really cool to see you progress along with myself, ive really noticed you and i think a lot a like when it comes to jumping off stuff and learning so your skate supports helped me improve by leaps and bounds. Really hope i can make it out that way someday in the near future and we can get some sessions together. I really look up to Aaron and the others but really you're my hero and you give me the motivation everyday to go out skate and reteach myself everything.
