Lance has this weird habit to not bend his arms or knees. He always looks stiff, maybe its cuz he's still not completely comfortable on a board yet. Aaron seems to be pushing him pretty fast.

Possibly a dumb question - when you push down, do you mean push toward the bottom of your feet, or push down at the angle in the direction of the skateboard movement?
@simonderycke75458 жыл бұрын
It's confusing if you're only bending your knees because you slow down when you bend your knees while moving up the ramp. It feels more like you do a little 'jump' or push while going up, and pushing your weight extra down when gravity pulls you back down. That's how pushing feels for me.
@anthonygonsalves70208 жыл бұрын
Bend your knees as you're starting to go downward. Lift yourself up when you reach the climax of your pump.

Basically at the moment where u would almost be weightless is when u come up to let it go higher then when ur weight comes back u bend push down to add weight or force

I think Lance would have an easier time with the kickturn if he got better at doing full 180 kickturns on flat first, because I noticed when you did the riding basics with him, he wasn't really comfortable doing that.

@FabienBrunod10 жыл бұрын
I personally learn all my tricks with a lil bit of speed. Very slow but still moving. Sometimes tricks changes a lot from stationary to moving.
@ktorgs582310 жыл бұрын
lakshay goyal Do it while moving so its not so hard when doing it even faster
@deven486610 жыл бұрын
Depends on the trick. If your talking tricks like ollie or kickflip do them stationary first, once you get the hang of them do the moving slowly. You don't want to get to use to doing them stationary, it turns to a mental block for people because they are so use to doing them still they get scared to do them rolling.

Hey guys whenever Lance skates he so wobbly is it cuz he's an adult or not yet comfortable on his board? Or just not trying and not committing like wtf I see skaters skate like that all the time. But they land tricks so cleanly.
@JaxBeach2NewportBch8 жыл бұрын
NG ! Uhh...It's because he's a beginner. And he's trying but like you, he isn't comfortable yet doing transition.
@anthonygonsalves70208 жыл бұрын
A few factors. Because of his height (as an adult) and board comfort. Our bodies adapt to things quickly and differently at a young age vs at an older age. Also, if someone was skating transition when they were shorter, there's less height over the board...makes there center of balance better.

i feel like Lance is letting his weight pull him down the ramp instead of pushing the board against the curve. He throws his feet in front of him. So he's not really trying to skate like Arron. it's not a bad thing i just think he should commit to the style he's being taught to get a better idea.
