I have the 2012(bought in 2011) version of this Lance. I can tell you that not much has changed. There are a few options that are different, but its great to see Lance built a great camper AND hasn't changed that much on it. This shows you that they really put a lot of thought into this model. As for weight goes, just work with a good truck shop that will modify your suspension. My 2500 GMC needed some work along with changing out the rims and tires to support it. Just be safe and enjoy it! It's held up pretty well in 10 years.
Absolutely the best use of small space I have ever seen! Better than many RV's. This is when a slide-out really makes sense. The ingenious angled sink has created workable counter space in a protected corner. These should sell like hotcakes. Cheers, Brad!

What are your thoughts on the Palimino truck campers? I’m in the market for a truck camper and Lance is just so proud of theirs. Palomino seems to be around 30-40% less
@itsbrad2 жыл бұрын
I don’t want to down anyone’s brand. So instead I’ll just say, go look at a Palomino in person, then go look at a Lance in person and you’ll see and feel why Palomino is less. Also, Lance has a greater resale then many brands so they end up costing you less to own in the long run.

Would immediately “beef up” the solar to at least 5, 200 watt panels on top (1,000 watts) beef up the camper batteries to at least 4 lithium for long boondocking. If you get a dehumidifier you can camp away from a water source and keep topped off.

Hey Brad I’ve always stayed away from truck campers I don’t know why because they seem very tiny. But it is something to consider because I am looking for one, different campers. I would like to have a motorhome so you can takeoff anytime you want, a van would be perfect but not as much room. A trailer or a truck camper if you can’t get to the driver seat to takeoff in emergency, that’s what my Smith and Wesson 357 is for. May God help us and not let our government strip us of our Second Amendment!
