I love Tupac to death, Tupac’s music just strikes a different chord with me, especially the anger ridden violent songs he made post 94 shooting and prison. I don’t mind the political conscious rap too but you gotta be in a certain mood for that. I’m more troublesome 96 than I am Brenda’s got a baby. Pac just transferred his moods into the music so well and he had a voice for the ages. Biggie smalls was just a lyrical magician, that bouncy flow and the way he played with words. Biggie’s vocabulary was also exemplary. Biggie had swag and flair on the mic in abundance man. The way both these rappers could tell a story on the mic was also phenomenal and you rarely hear anybody do that to any level any more. Recently I’ve just been in a phase where I barely play any music that’s new and have reverted back to Pac and Big and I’m just flabbergasted by the charisma and talent they both had and how they came to such an abrupt end so soon. 24 and 25 years old, they were literally babies. They both got shot same circumstances busy places at busy times and the cars just disappeared? I don’t know man. Something fishy about it all.
