Its better to keep in mind that Meliodas lost his godlike powers and final form he has in the end of SDS by breaking his and Elizabeth's curse. He and Ban are still equal in power. But his powers as the next god of the demons is gone. If he had it he would have purged Arthur's chaos powers a long time ago.

So true! Lancelot got that Escanor vibe. I think he is the most OP out of 4 knights. And when you learn about Arthurian legend, Lancelot is his rival so I guess he would be the true enemy for Arthur downfalls here too. I can't wait because Lancelot is my fav!! 💜

He got the same power-up treatment as how Ban was after he returned from Purgatory. But Lancelot being half-fairy, it also amplified his magic powers. So he's a real powerhouse after the incident Tristan mentioned.

As a manga reader, believe me when I say you guys are NOT ready for this season lol. It’s going to get bonkers. Especially the way the season should end… Also just a quick FYI, but this season’s only going to be a short single cour season (12 episodes), half the length of all previous seasons. Most likely due to its increasingly close proximity to the manga now (this season should end in the late 120s and the manga currently is only in the 160s). Also because it’s a pretty good place to end and also leave the audience wanting more. The manga’s actually officially split into parts (currently only 2 but it’s looking like there will be more. Most likely 3 or 4) and this season should end on the end of part 1, leaving season 3 to pick up at the start of part 2. Though most likely not for at least another couple years I’d imagine

Yup, but he got a glimpse of his true power went his right arm got triggered. And Lancelot can't read the movements from that arm since it's made of different entities that kinda acts as a jammer for Lancelot's mind reading ability.

He only has his demon form plus the new skills he picked-up during his time in Purgatory with Ban. The only other form he have is his Demon King form, which as you mentioned he no longer has it since he destroyed the remnants of the Demon King's powers a.k.a. the commandments. So he something like Thanos did, the "I used the stones, to destroy the stones" thing.

maybe they didn't wanna do a montage but feels like they could've used the hyperbolic time chamber for a 'day/year' so they can get used to their bodies and have more of an advantage but it'd be nice to see goku/vegeta struggle again instead of one-shotting enemies lol

They should loosen up the the copyright restriction otherwise previous fans that left and forgotten SDS wouldn't know this ramp up changes in animation quality, heck I wouldn't even know that they did boosted the quality until this suggestion of SDS reaction appeared, if so they need to remake the whole arc with Escanor vs Meliodas with this quality, I'll pay to see such series and move forward to next arc.

As for you saying that meliodas didnt even use 5%, that in fact is not true because you have to remember 2 things, meliodas used the same dark Mark he used to kill supreme deity with zeldris to attack arthur, and Second, he had to defend his son wife and kingdom, all that was at risk there, meliodas went all out agaisnt arthur, the thing is that Lancelot is just way too strong, he is above current meliodas
