Lancer Evolution X SST Teach In Complete Guide (with Software Install)

This is a complete guide on how to do a teach in on an SST Transmission found in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR and Ralliart. I go step by step on what exactly to do for setting up the software PassThruCAN , and then to the actual teach in process in the car. Please leave a like and comment for any questions. Great walkthrough. I just went through this whole process myself recently. I had to flash a Ralliart transmission with the Evo X firmware to get the S-Sport mode. My only recommendation would be to use "Application Mover 64-bit" instead of the registry modifications. Just do a regular install and let it install to "C:\Programs Files (x86)\" and then have Application Mover relocate it to "C:\Program Files\". It will move the application plus all of the registry entries.

Life saver! I had followed the instructions you were using before finding your video and I couldn't get the Teach-in to work at first. Just kept saying data not found. I seen I had missed adding the files in the Diag DB folders after watching your video.

Fantastic video well explained. I followed the install to the letter and went to do a teach in but it gives an error message saying "TC-SST recalibration data not found review the PassThru software installation procedures re-install if necessary then retry the operation " any ideas on what to do to resolve it I'd rather not have to re-do the whole thing again if there's a simpler fix

Hey Daniel, I am sorry to bother you man. I am doing an sst relearn on my 2010 ralliart, and was curious if I could ask you a question? I am going through the reflash guide, and at step #5 after I change the target (by removing the (x86) I get an error that says the "name specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure path and file name are correct." Do you know if that is that supposed to happen? I didn't see it happen in your instruction video. Was that error supposed to happen? If I click "OK" and hit apply, it just gives me the same error. Do you know what would cause this?

I am missing 2 file folders when in the PassthruCAN folder in my files, the CDGdata and RPGdata files. is there maybe something I did wrong or am I missing something? I've tried uninstall and reinstall and double checked that I did everything right.

Double check and make sure you dont have a space or anything else in there than specified in the video

I have the same issue. If I go to the folder it only shows a dll file is that correct? Target file name is identical to what you show in your vid as wel as pdf instructions say.
