Good. Actually, I had it on the car for only about two weeks until I got the stereo. (I got the stereo for $47.18 from Amazon.com) Link in the description.

I believe there should be wire diagram coming with when you buy a stereo system? And or if you mean the amplifier, then I would say try it out. It shouldn't break anything even if you got + - wrong. However, I believe the wire with a white color on it is positive. While the solid black is negative. Good Luck!

It is LP-2020A+ Lepai Tripath Class-T Hi-Fi Audio Mini Amplifier with Power Supply Silver. It's just an amplifier that I can play my mp3 or just anything that has 3.5 audio jack.

+The DarkDragonWing do not do that. it would be better to put it directly on the battery with a fuse inline. l suppose there is nothing wrong with the way you did it, but l think you are asking to much from those wires. they are only like 16awg, so be careful.

Should have gotten a harness adapter makes wiring easier. everything is color codes to where they need to go. Splicing into oem wires is very unsafe and may cause a wire fire if something shorted.

I tried to do the same thing. and the power wires probably touched a speaker wire.. when I was trying I checked and a fuse blew.. Changed the fuse.. then checked the stereo.. no power.. checked the fuse. It blew again -____- Any pointers before I run out of fuses ?

Okey, you have a Lancer, it's an insult to put a Dual head unit in it. I had a few Dual head units, the flip face rarely worked right, and the sound quality gave away do to vibration with just 2 12 inch Sony Explodes. Please upgrade ASAP. Give the Lancer the respect it deserves.

It's good overall, but one thing I noticed is the buttons, they tend to be loose and they make noise when the car accelerate or shake. I stop that problem by placing something in between them like cards, so that they are tight in place. Just one thing, otherwise, it's super good!

Wire the ground - negative wire to the metal part of the car. And connect the + positive wire to the ACC blue/yellow wire of the stereo unit as you can see at 4:17
