A 1951 Lanchester LD10 was running very badly, belching smoke, stalling on tick-over and acceleration, generally misfiring and backfiring through the exhaust. Turned out the Zenith 30 VIG 5 Carburettor needed attention.
It has been brought to my attention that there is one error in the video, the gasket 'locator pins' are actually drive screws which hold the gasket in place. These should be removed using a sharpened screwdriver or similar and then reused to fix the new gasket. They are tapped into their holes like nails.
