LAND BASED FISHING FOR MURRAY COD NSW / Spinner baits, Swim baits & Surface lures

This episode Marty and myself head west for an overnight trip in search of one of our Australian native species the might murry cod.
The both of us had never fished for murry cod before so after some research and a few tips from some friends we found the spot and within the first 50 m of walking the river bank I had landed my very first fish and what a show it put on for the camera.

Never did I ever think I would froth a fresh water session so much! This was bloody unbelievable - can’t believe how close to the bank he was. Crazy to think these fish are literally under our nose and we can’t even see them 😂

Yeah bro I’m surprised how much I enjoyed chasing them, even just at peace walking the beautiful country was awesome. I will def be doing heaps more in the future that’s for sure haha

Good session that first day. It can be tough out that way. But with every 100m and lots of casting you will get a handle on the structure water flow etc. 👍🇦🇺🦘
