This really brings me back my middleschool days. Playing multiplayer while listening to Rollin' by Limp Bizcuit and mowing down a bunch of zombies with M16A1 has a special place in my head. Killingfloor and Dead Island scratched the itch for this game a bit but the atmosphere of this game is still unpararelled.

Although you did take a tiny bit of damage in the streets before the hospital, it was still a damn impressive run. Nearly impossible to do a no-damage run of this game because of all the fire. The damn exploding zombies get me from time to time too. But a masterful playthrough sir.

Thank you. I don't think you can do anything about the fire from the hospital. I tried jumping on the car but it doesn't work. Only by cheating (flying) i think you can get past that fire. Developers fault or "environmental damage". I'm more disappointed that i missed a speed loader for the revolver in one of the corners before going into the hospital. :))

I still have nightmares even today about that.😭🤣 I understand you very well. I'm the same type as you. My motto in shooter games: "no ammo left behind". After i wasted half of my arsenal on the behemoth in Blood 2: The Chosen when i was a kid i learned to be very careful with the ammo... plus i am a perfectionist so i like to have everything max out. In Quake 4 in the room before the last boss battle there is ammo scattered on the ground and when you walk on it to get it you hear the clicking sound. In my case there was no clicking sound. I have made the math on the previous boss on the ammo scattered everywhere what weapons to use and how much ammo to spend so at the end of the fight i was maxed out. 😁 In Doom 3 before the last boss there is a room full of ammo for every weapon but even then i still prefer to not waste ammo. In Bioshock 1&2 i was max out on everything resources to craft and ammo. In Kabus 22 i used a trainer for infinite ammo just to see how much ammo i have for every weapon at the end. I never tried that yet in classic Resident Evil games when you finish the game and get the infinite ammo for weapons.😆 ... and the list continues with many other games.

For me, I had to do it backwards. 😂 For the classic resident evil games, especially RE3, I got the infinite ammo for all weapons but I mostly just ran around the game with the magnum. You can see, at multiple instances in this video, him just unloading the Glock or .22 into a zombie's chest to kill them. The game also has the zombies walking through the water, which was a major plot point in the movie: the dead FEAR bodies of water until they're shown it does nothing to them, leading to the fall of Fiddler's Green in the Land of the Dead.

@@akojulius3777 For a 2005 game... the graphics aren't that good. Even for 2002/2003 they'd be pretty sub par. But you are correct, gameplay does matter. I personally wouldn't call this a good game, tbh. The gameplay looks pretty archaic compared to anything released around the time period or even before. Now that's not to say you can't enjoy it, of course, it's just pretty far from the quality expected of a game like this at the time in my opinion, and there's nothing wrong with enjoying games most people dislike or consider to be bad.

After Dead Epidemic and your comment i wanted to see if i can get past that fire without getting hit. I manage to figure it out. You need to run and jump over it or run starting a little from the right and when you jump press forward-left. The jumping needs to be precise... not too early not too late. I'm disappointed in me. I was still young and stupid when i made the walkthrough.😄Interesting how in this one the fire is your enemy while in Dead Epidemic is the water. Although Dead Epidemic is a No Damage more like no hit run i still got Damage from "drowning". Where the heck does someone take damage if he doesn't have enough air underwater. There's only one result you either get out for air or you drown and die. There is no middle between these two.

@@shenlong919 Ok. First, the game can be finished No Damage even on Hard Difficulty. I was worried about the soldiers but you can get past them without getting shot. But... the problem is that in the same level there is a f...... game breaking glitch . I remember when i played the game years ago that i manage to get past the glitch but i don't remember how. When you get close to the green barrels upstairs in the police station the camera change to a RE style, where you see your front body, but you can only see your hands and weapon because the screen is all grey. That's the problem with mods sometime. They don't get fixed and left in this state.

I have a GTX 970 Ti, AMD FX(tm)-8300 Eight-Core Processor 3.00 GHz, DDR3 32GB, and 500GB SSD and 3 Helium Hard Disks (1 - 14TB space and 2 - 12TB space). The video card had the fans changed once. I don't know how long until it dies. It's heating very fast when i play a game with bigger requirements so now i'm stuck with the NES games or games with fewer requirements.

I tried but there is a glitch in the Police Station and i can't get past it where the camera changes into Resident Evil/Silent Hill style and everything becomes invisible. Someone already asked me to do it and i tried. I will see what i can do... still it will have to wait a little. Knowing that the game can be done with No Damage i want to take it as a challenge. I finished the game a long time ago but i can't remember how did i pass that section.

I played the mod some years ago. I even had the save from the last fight with Doctor Necro from back then. And a few months back i tried to make a No Damage, at someone's request (without the "No Damage" part), and i got stuck in the police station's glitch i was talking about. I completed the first 2 level with a No Damage and some secrets here and there and i tried to go further to explore the game, again. And then the horror... the glitch.

Actually, this game was completely different at the origin since it was a game named Day of the Zombie which was developed within 4 months and ready to release for October 2004. Then it was shown to Universal Studios who coincidentally were filming the movie Land of the Dead at the time so they modified it to tie it to the movie, notably they added Mr. Kaufman and the Fiddler's Green tower and made it the goal of the game to make the game ends where the movie starts and released the game as an advertising prequel to the movie. The original game Day of the Zombie which was shown to Universal Studios before they modified it to turn it into an advertising prequel to the movie Land of the Dead was eventually released 4 years later in 2009 and is unrelated to Land of the Dead even though this game here is actually an altered version of it. 😉

I like more Land of the Dead because you can have all your arsenal with you (story 2, atmosphere and levels) compared to Day of the Zombie where they divided the weapons to 3 characters. It was something i never liked in Shadowgrounds Survivor either.

@@akojulius3777 I see and I understand what you mean because I played Shadowgrounds Survivor. 🤔 Well, it's not as if you actually use your full arsenal since you rather use weapons which don't consume ammo out of ammo-saving obsessional behavior anyway so it doesn't change much for you weather you have all weapons at once or if they are divided between characters, does it? 😉 But do you prefer the game which exists only because it was altered to advertise an unrelated movie over the original version which actually featured its own story, characters and level-design? 🤔

@@Maxime_Martyr The game it's more atmospheric in my opinion, plus, i have the main character till the end and not divide the game into 3 forgettable stories. At least the story and characters from "Road to Fiddler's Green" stuck with me.

@@akojulius3777 Did you already play Day of the Zombie by the way? 😲 I struggle to understand how you can find Road to Fiddler's Green "more atmospheric" and its story and characters "more memorable" because I find it extremely generic, monotonous, repetitive and lacking any personality whereas Day of the Zombie at least tried to be diversified, at least more than its altered version Road to Fiddler's Green, I honestly don't care about sticking with the same character if this character lacks personality, I might as well switch characters to at least appreciate a bit of diversity, don't you? 😉 And let's be honest, neither Day of the Zombie nor Road to Fiddler's Green actually feature any story because they are generic zombies games whose purpose is to survive a hostile world overrun by zombies and not to tell any story, all characters and events are forgettable because these games exist only for gameplay and not story-telling.

@@Maxime_Martyr I played the game years ago. They do have a story. It's not like you are thrown into the game with only the info about controls and kill waves of zombies like in Killing Floor.

I know. I couldn't get past at the time by that fire. I tried some months ago because a lot of people where complaining about that part and i did it. maybe you would know the name of a game? There is a game that looks similar, and about the same age as this one. It's zombies themed too. The only thing I remember almost for sure, it starts at the protagonist's apartment, and I believe the first enemy is his zombified girlfriend/wife. Also he wields a baseball bat

Pretty incredible what they did with the map design and layout, but you can tell that sadly there were a number of shortcuts taken with the rest of the game. Would be interesting to get a better look into the development.

I think this game is not fun on hard difficulty. Not because it's too hard (it's stupid easy even on hard difficulty), but because of the gameplay. What I mean is that the game is repititive enough already, but shooting the different guns is still kinda fun. On hard difficulty, you are basically forced to use melee weapons for like 3/4 of the game, because ammo is very scarce. Seeing the same attack animation again and again. At least when you shoot, there's variety, because there's a bunch of different guns.

I want to make another No Damage on Hard without the use of Kung Fu Book. The ammo is scarce in the first stages. Later on you get a lot of ammo.
