Landrover owners used to be a friendly bunch, normally waving at each (probably sharing their pain). Now seem to be mostly aggressive townie types barrelling down the motorway at 80mph.

These are pretty much the holy grail for middle class, celtic tiger types. No surprise.

The whole world has gone to pot. Nobody greets anybody anymore. Even if you sit next to someone on the train or on the plane, they quickly pull out their headphones and smartphone and immediately ignore you. People everywhere have just generally become unfriendly and angry. It's not just modern Defender drivers.

Great chat and review, 2 weeks into a D300 version of the 75th, the colour is far better in the flesh, A totally different ball game to my 2015 110, Like it or not, its called progress, and so far so good, very smooth

Great video as always , not sure on the colour of the defender definitely a marmite car I'm guessing, also great you converted km and litres into miles per gallon that was so useful 👍 😀

I believe in the UK market at least, dealers had to offer large discounts to shift the 75th Anniversary models, down to the Marmite factor I'm sure.

Not fan of the design to be honest. Maybe the short overhang on rear.

Demographic of owners in the UK is troubling. Not many farmers, but lots of people who move produce around.....

That's a great car that so it is. God awful colour mind. Nobody does options lists like LR. Go build one online, you'll be there a while, aye.

reviewers don't talk about the transmission speeds, type & manufacturer?!!

ZF 8 Speed auto with transfer case for low ratios. Silky smooth on and offroad but no paddle shifters (except on the V8’s) which is a bad omission, especially offroad in low box

It couldn’t tow three ton. It could tow , seven. Not legally though

2020 you say? When did Land Rover start using BMW engines again? 🤔
@NobbyOnCars Жыл бұрын
This time around, not as far back as 2020. It’s only the 4.4 V8 also as far as I know

The original somehow translates to a hairdresser car in 2023.NAGL.

The five door is way too try hard looking. Those panniers you see on them are utterly cringeworthy. The 3 door manages to somewhat remain true to the original. Why have air suspension on a proper four wheel drive, unnecessary and over complicated, just tells you that even land rover know 99% of these will never leave the motorway.

The air was a deal breaker for me, makes towing a total different ball game, , Also, no space in the rear of a 90, I also have 2 original Defenders , As the video, 75 years of progress,
