Great video chaps👍 I have just got my first TD5 2, caught out a bit when bought, but getting there - New battery, New Water Pump, Moral of the story if someone asks - give me a ring an hour before you Leave to view, it could mean a few things like a good battery being replaced with a duff one like in my case, just a warning chaps, One bonus is a solid Chassis 👍

Handy video this. Currently have a 2012 Freelander 2 but have always wanted a Discovery 2 and currently having a look to see what’s about. Would prefer a Td5 auto and as original as possible. Not many good ones left so time is now

I’m amazed that nobody sprays anti corrosion oil eg LANOX or wd40 . The rust in under around the chassis is so bad .

Bit of spray wax in the cavity would be good but 95% have now rusted away.
