Is there a reversing camera on some of the D4 HSE’s? Fairly certain the ones on the L320 RR Sport are in its spoiler. If the same on a L319 Disco, what refitting would be required?

Third? I have a Discovery 3 now and am in battle with the EPB, so far 5 hours in and only managed to remove 7 of the 8 screws holding the cover on 😅

There is a reason the G4 is stuck in the workshop..... the EPB....

I have the original one on my Disco 3 but half of the leds are out do you sell a replacement light fitting for it ? I think its called the HST kit and was factory fitted

Hey Simon I’m just fitted the spoiler to my D4 My question is, why drill into the brake light? I’m using the cavity where the old rear washer jet was for the new washer pipe and the wiring for the brake light. Plus I’ve attached additional cable lengths to the new washer pipe and rear brake light so I can start to thread them through before applying the bondo and all the faff of threading them through after. Just some thoughts and tips on my install

1. It is possible to make a screw in the middle 2. You must immediately provide a place for the camera. 3. No need to make a hole in the lantern. You can make the hole for the tube larger.

Good points - I like the idea of the larger washer hole for the brake light wire.

Hello Simon…Good work on this as it looks neat even if it takes a bit of fiddling to get it all together. Re the possibility of the centre part catching the roof, could you modify the moulding so that it curves in slightly from the edge for say 20 cm by 2-3 mm? That might be a problem now after you have set it all up but I wonder if some tailgates might be set slightly different and not have just enough clearance? If I had a D4 I would buy it! If I had a defender I would as well! 😃😃😃Richard.

Evening Richard - as you can see we have been busy since getting back... the spoiler was a tricky design with the washer and brake light etc but we are pleased with the final result even if it is a bit of a fiddle to fit.

That's the ugliest thing I've ever seen on a Disco. Nothing like the OG spoiler. Enjoy pulling that made in PRC tat off in 12 months and wishing you'd not drilled a hole in the high level brake light. 🤠

Each to his own....we were trying to design something a little different to OG spoiler....the brake light needs replacing anyway - its faded and cracked. This was designed in house but yes it was made in China as UK costs were too high !
