Myth busted!! Another good job done. It has bothered me for a while now on the best way to convert to disc brakes for my series III. Because I want to keep things simple because of where I live (parts availability issues) I will have defender calipers hence defender brake pads. Shame the series wheels will have to go. The other video on why the series wheels won't work is also very useful. Thank you very much.

I really like that you show how quick and efficient simple old lathes and mills can be. Essentially most of this is thanks to using the equivalent of Go,NoGo gauges and jigs

Pretty much, but what you dont see in the video is the DRO on the mill, It helps ..... a lot. .

@@qfogarty I assumed there was a dro, as the movements were way to fluid for reading of the handles.

Front uses Hilux Rotors & M16 calipers , rear uses Jimny front rotors & EL Falcon rear calipers
