How to extract Land Surface Temperature ( LST ) data from Sentinel-3 SLSRT Level 2 data using ESA SNAP and ArcGIS. If you dont have ArcGIS Software, you can use Free and Open Source QGIS Software available from www.qgis.org.

If you are looking for Sea Surface Temperature extraction, I have created a tutorial using Sentinel 3 SLSTR here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXXFhqhpn7V6qNU

first of all thank you for the video. I'm working on a project for university course. I am a beginner in this type of softwares. The satellite image I obtained covers a very large area, but the data I need must belong to a very small city. Is there some kind of clipping method can i use for this?

If you are looking for clipping method, you can use subset tool from raster menu.

Thanks for the useful tutorial! Is it possible to extract LST data from Sentinel-3 and use it directly in ArcGIS without using ESA SNAP? If so, what funtion or tool would be best to project the data?

Cant you just project the ESA data within the GIS software itself (via Project Raster on Arc Pro for example?)? Thanks

Yes, you must export the data to geotiff format tho

Hello, thank you for the great tutorial. I'm a beginner in this field, but I was wondering if it was possible to monitor LST on a real-time basis using this process ? Thank you very much and have a great day!
@GEO2004
@GEO2004 2 жыл бұрын
no, it can't, satellite imagery have delay on its publishing because the data needs to be processed first in the ground station. unless you want to monitor at coarser resolution using LST from weather/meteorological satellite, now that is possible
