Bridge saws are typically 150lbs and probably overkill for most jobs but I’d still like to see a review. The IQ seems to cut very well but I’m still on the fence not because of price but because of the longevity of the cutting quality. Blades run $100 that’s not too huge a deal but if they can’t cut clean a majority of the time on a majority of tile then I’d rather just invest in either a bridge saw or the Delwalt. Great videos probably the best tile channel in my opinion

moving dewalt from point A to point B, i have installed wheels on my stand, works perfect to move around and setting up its very light. i can see the IQ being great on mosiac sheets perhaps if it cuts good as sometimes the water loosens up the glue. i have to put down a towel on my wet saw and after i cut a mosiac sheet lay it down on towel while wiping the top. so how does the IQ do on mosiacs and glass?

Great videos on the IQ. I'm in the market for a new wet saw but I think I'll get an IQ. Just the time and flexibility with sizes and machine placement makes it worth it for me. I live north of Toronto and we get coooold! I just outfitted my trailer with outlets and breaker panel so I can plug in a heater to keep my wet saw from freezing, but now I won't need it. I can't wait to use one of these. Thanks for the great vids! Appreciate them very much.

I love my DeWalt but wow that IQ would be convenient. To set up right next to the shower, then turn it on with no setup or cleanup would make my life better. Did get for a good price on Black Friday though, no complaints

You never mentioned the thousand trips up and down the steps the iq saw saves.Thats the real value to me.

I bought a used Brutus tile saw and it was a big mistake. That saw wouldn't cut straight and continually caused me issues. I got rid of the Brutus and bought a Dewalt 24000. The difference was night and day and I've never looked back. I do not tile full time so as you said, the $1800 price for the dustless doesn't make sense for me. Thank you very much for your equipment videos and all the other tile videos. I have learned a lot from you.

That's great! You can never go wrong with the Dewalt. It's the most popular saw on the market. Happy you enjoy my vids 👍

If I ripped a 60 inch shower jamb that’s 6 inches wide will both provide the same accuracy you think ?

The Diamondback tile saws from Harbor Freight are cheap and better than people know and understand, but Ridgid has a lifetime warranty if you register the new saw.

Tile coach talked trash about the iq said the cuts are chippy and it takes longer to make cuts and it's heavy af so it just sits on a shelf, do you just use the stock blade? I want this saw to be the one, You don't seem to have these problems Edit: usually when I need the wet saw I need the cuts to be clean also have you cut glass mosaics with it?

I’ve also seen bad reviews. Tilers saying they’re constantly cleaning up their cuts on porcelain.

I trust Isaac's review and it's what I expected.. 30 years of using wet saws and grinders we all know which makes the cleaner cut. I find it difficult to trust any of these reviews.

Id like to see real time footage of side by side speed tests of tile cutting. Seems to me the iq takes a ling rime to cut a tile. So when you say it saves time, I find that hard to believe.

I know you're not a fan of MK from previous comments I've made, but why? I'm not even a tile guy, but I own two 101s and a 370, and I think they are the most accurate saws out there. Mitering is similar to the IQ so it's not too bad. Some people say they're heavy, but the motor on the 101 comes off in less than a minute with no tools making it easy to lift and move around. Also, the induction motors are so nice compared to the universal motors on most newer saws. They last forever and are super quiet.

The cuts on the dewalt: Dry that tile before you set it! The cuts on the iQ: You can't cut an additional blade off after its been buttered 😅
@johnbelangerii82824 жыл бұрын
Your videos are well done sir! Have you ever considered a rail/bridge style saw like the rubi dc250? I shied away in the past based on the price point. But I figure if I’m willing to entertain something like the IQ’s price point to upgrade, it puts these back on the table. Just curious if you have any thoughts on that design/style.
