Young man, your future is exceptionally bright!! Astonishing work. Well done indeed. I am an oldie at 44 with a DATA job and a family and recently opened up blender and stared at the screen like so many people do. I clicked a few things and concluded that I would be better of opening a bottle of wine and watching Netflix.... However, with intrigue, I got up the next day and once more opened up blender. I came across the donut course and within a few hours I had created a flippin donut!!! Didn't bother faffing with all the different sized sprinkles! I was so happy with it and realised that even at my age, I might be able to do something!! So now I have taken the leap to character modelling and whilst it is hard, the Topology is hell! I will succeed... So my point is that this young gun is going to be making an absolute killing doing something he enjoys..... It's never too late though as I reckon a year or two and there could be some sideline work for me too. Didn't mean for this to go on longer than that lad's video.... Well done man!!!

You're tempting me to make a video showcasing my progress for the last two years of learning Blender, entirely soundtracked by sad trombone sound effects. This is fantastic! Glad to have run across your channel/accounts courtesy of everyone hyping your Alternate Realities entry. The support is both real and earned.

William, I only can say Congratulations! You've made an outstanding progress in such a short time. I'm 41yo. Have been with Blender for almost 4 years now and I don't even reach half of your level. I think you've got a great future and wish you the best! Congratulations again!

Thanks William. You helped me a lot even if you don't know. When I first installed Blender, I simply couldn't learn it and gave up. I didnt even bother to complete the donut tutorial. But after watching this video, and realising you were the same age as me, I gave Blender another try and guess what? I am also fairly good at blender now. So thanks a lot for making this video. Someday I also dream of having a progression video where Andrew would comment. Hope your channel grows fast.

Every time this comment gets a like, I get a chance to revisit this masterpiece! I just imagine how much I would've missed if this video hadn't motivated me.... As a student, Blender is so very helpful in my daily projects...Thanks to it, all of my projects stand out...

OMG you’re so good! ❤ I’m 14 and started using Blender for the first time in the summer of ‘21 (hehe) and I can’t believe how you’ve succeeded with these renders. They are sooo good! 🎉 At the same time, I don’t put as much time into it as you do. Good job! ❤❤❤

Hey I am interested in 3d modeling and already taking up classes in it. Is there a good pay in this field. I am from a middle class family in a 3rd world developing country. Its really hard to make decisions without considering the monetary part of the job. Is there a good pay?

You do lessons?
@feelcollins43582 жыл бұрын
@@VARun2CGS The art industry is really ass in 3rd world countries, however great 3D is really valued in first-world countries, so they'll pay good money for it. The potential is almost limitless with 3D, you could go into almost any field with it like movie-making, games, advertising, etc. I suggest you practice and get good at it then go abroad to a first-world country for maximum income.

This blows my mind :o That's so awesome I also started Blender back in 2019 and I was 15 back then. I got distracted to playing video games cuz a lot of my friends and classmates plays too. It's kind of a peer pressure to because I don't really have friends to talk about my interest even at home there's nothing motivates. Basically, I tried to mask that feeling by playing video games like 6 hours a day. But hey! I'm back at learning Blender and I'm hoping to at least break my video game habit. Well done again! It really made me inspired. Thank you!

I was in a similar situation at your age. Now 29. Realize you need to be your own leader. Put your goals straight. Focus on them daily and stay disciplined. The more you do it and the more days in a row the better you become. Keep going no matter how difficult it gets. Tell your mind there is no way but succeding and it finds the way.

The car animations are where you really notice the improvement. This vid is a great motivation for someone starting out in 3D, because most people when they first get interested in any artform don't tend to appreciate the amount of hard work and study it takes to become actually good at something, and either end up blaming it on the tools, blaming it on their lack of ability, or just giving up. In a period where most arts have become democratized, it's pretty amazing that we can find more people criticizing the art of others than original art projects out there, because now more than any other time it is finally true that if you don't like what's out there you really can just go and create your own.
