I used to race small boats and wore through many of board shorts in the ass. Then I got a Tornado catamaran which was a bit better as I was usually on the wire and then got a Nacra 6.0 with a spinnaker because I wanted to go fast on a reach and down wind and experience a reaching spinnaker and how it felt on a catamaran. Apparently, our small group was the first small racing catamarans to attempt sailing with a spinnaker according to talking with others in our group. It was all experimental and everyone had a different looking sail and home made spinnaker pole. I used an aluminum wind surfer mast and attached it to the top of the dolphin striker and tied the other end to the bridal wire foil just aft of the bow. It was a wild ride. My crew was my hot girlfriend but she sort of sucked at being my crew because she didn't enjoy it. Then I got a Nacra 5.8 because it was a smaller rig and I could handle it much better even when I went solo. Now I want a big boy cat like what you have and cruise the tropics. I spoke to my wife about moving to the South Pacific, what island do you think would be the best to live on being an American and hopefully getting a dock to park my boat or getting a slip in a marina?

Sounds like you had a blast! As for your question Robert, Moorea is a touristy island but not like Bora Bora but there are a few Americans that live here. At some point in their lives they met and married a local. :)
